Yeah, just a tad. I get where the issue is coming from, but I don't agree with it neccesarily. As I said, if people don't like the behavior of a certain user, they should complain about it to me. It's my job to listen to people complaining.

It just seems odd to me that this is happening now, instead of a while ago when there was some serious arguing going on about mod abuse. Things seemed to be going pretty well after that passed.

Admittedly, I am also at fault, but it's not just me. It's about 90% of the community. Basically Meg is just trying to get a global chat reform. Which I view as unlikely, but no less admirable.

The point that both sides are making are valid, and I agree with both sides to an extent.

There have been people who have abused their power, especially when it comes to trust points and chat rooms. I'm a victim myself of this. Twice in fact. There are moderators who do abuse and have a loosy-goosy attitude about how to use theIr powers. There are also veteran users who exploit others because of something that they did which they thought would cause no harm. Heck, I was involved in one not even 3 days ago. The point is that these things do happen. However not all of the blame can be put on the mods. Sure they may abuse powers but some users do give good reasons for the mods to provide the punishments that a specified user or group of users may recieve. And part of the problem may also be, as leggy said, that despite the issues that are occurring, no one is reacting to the situations at the moment they occur. It's like high school when a bully is bullying a student and no one is doing anything to help the defenseless victim, but is just watching as of it's a game, sometimes even encouraging the bullies like a fan. Mega has a very good point in saying that mods abuse power, and I stand by mega on that ideaology, however the weight of this problem cannot lie solely on the moderator because Vizzed as a community has to be responsible for any wrongdoings and take care of any issues together, rather than bickering about power struggles and a lack of effort to respond.

Long story short, people in power can be abusive, but everyone has to step up and work together to fix things, almost like one big online family. That's what the Vizzed community is all about, and that should be what this revolution should be for.

P.S. Mega you should've referred to this as a revolution, not a rebellion. Revolutions tend to succeed, while rebellions tend to fail.

When I'm on Vizzed I feel EXACTLY like that.
I completely agree with this revolution, some mods abuse with their power level.
In my opinion these corrupt moderators were just waiting for a little mistake of us to unfair punish us.
Me and Megaman are examples.
Yesterday, rcarter asked why that Bird girl got DQ'd from 3 Jerseys, and I explained what happened and I told that I had given a rate down. The only reason I did this was because I didn't knew that it was not allowed to say, I even asked why we are not supposed to say these things and carter explained to me. These mods take things too seriously.
Even though I've been on Vizzed for 452 days, I'm still learning to walk like Vizzed walk, I'm trying to catch up to make the best taht I can possibly do, there is no need to be too hard on me, simply come to me calmly, I can understand if you are either sad or mad at me, but talk with me, I'm not a Troll, I'm a Vizzed user trying to make the best for the site that revived my childhood and allowed me to know new games, and, I even learned new things on Vizzed, things that I will use on my future that is about this come.

soxfan849 : Indeed, rcarter handled things very well, rcarter is very nice, he didn't punished me and nothing like that, he just talked to me the possible problems that could happen if I keep saying that I down rated someone, the problems is:
People that DON'T have ANYTHING to do with this rated me down like crazy, and saying that I shouldn't act as a Local Moderator, saying that Site Staff < Local Mod. I already knew that (ok mlb?).
I talk with everybody differently everyday, some days I'm feeling good and others not. A local moderator can't rule on my life, if I talk like a Local, good thing eh? That may mean that I have good qualities.

But sox, carter didn't do anything, at first, I noticed that my TP was 11 instead of 12, I was: 12 Trusted Points with 6 votes, then I turned 11 TP with 7 votes.
Then everything got out of control when I entered that, everybody all of a sudden started rating me down.
I have some ideas of people that could have done this, but sadly I can't prove that been really these people that rated me down.

well dude, it boils down to internal politics like anything else. Trust points shouldn't be an automatic portrayal of how well someone has contributed to the site and what not. They should honestly rename them to 'popularity points', haha. I noticed thing1 is close to -47 or some absurd number like that, and he's made some good posts on here and is friendly.

If you see somebody being attacked by the non-supporters and abusive mods, help them! Do not fight their battles, but record all logs, and PM them to the Global Moderators. Again, DO NOT FIGHT BACK, that ruins what we are fighting for, peace. If you fight back, it's a guarantee that you will be targeted next.
