Anyone want to discuss some tricks, glitches, and or secrets from this game, I know a lot of tricks, most of the glitches, and some secrets.

I want to discuss a special unforgetable trick from the original Mario 1, "infinite 1-ups".

The infinite 1-up trick can be used in World 1-1 with the koopa in the block cage.

How do you do the trick?

Here is how, step by step:

Step 1: At the koopa cage, get the mushroom or flower out of the [?] block.
Step 2: When the koopa goes to the far right side of the cage, hit the block one to the right of the [?] block.
Step 3: Clear out the block to the left of the [?] block and get on the solid block.

Note, once you get to step 4, if you get hit by the koopa when at this step, it won't work. You will have to suicide on a pirahna plant and do this all over again.

Step 4: When on the solid [?] block you already hit after clearing out the bottom, clear out the left most block, the block to the right of the left most, and the block to the left of the right most, DO NOT try to hit the right most block.

Step 5 requires timing.

Step 5: Jump at the left most block, and if you land on the koopa when a part of the koopa shell is off the edge of the block is stands on, you have performed the 1-up trick. If you shrink back to small Mario, too much of the shell was off the block it stands on. If you don't even bounce on it and it doesn't get kicked, the whole shell might have been ON the block.

Also, if you want to tell how to do the secret/glitch/trick, it is optional, you don't have to.

Ok, let's start discussing tricks/glitches/secrets of Super Mario Bros 2: The Lost Levels on the FDS. (Famicom Disk System)

I know how to find the warp zone 1-2!
To do it, near the end of the level, jump off the moving platforms with a run-and-jump, you'll find a new area of the level, and 2 parts of it are warp zones!

I DO know how to get the warp zone on 1-2. Almost everyone does (mostly TASers) but did you know the speedy infinite 1up trick in 1-1. Here's how to do it. So first you start up the game (this is easier if you are Mario), then you don't get the Mushroom at the start, you may think it's the one where you corner the Koopa and jump, jump, jump on its shell but no. Remember, I said "speedy". So then you proceed to the bricks and choose ground level. Hit the Paratroopa into its shell without letting it touch the stairs to the lower level (you can always use savestates if you miss.) Then, take the stairs to the lower level and hit the shell to the right so it is on the stairs. Go right next to the first stair and wait. The Koopa will come out of the shell and jump when it is at the right spot. It is basically the infinite 1up trick on stairs but every jump, Mario (or Luigi) will hit his head on a brick forcing him down to hit the shell again! And that concludes the other and faster way for infinite 1ups.
