My favorite would have to be Link....Yeah I'm sticking with that...

One of my favorite Videogame character is Ike of Fire emblem 9 and 10 :3 he's really the strongest swordsman and the main character of the 2 parts and i like him the most 'cause he is so cool X3
Then i like Amaterasu of Okami. She's such a beautiful and strong wolf *-*
Link of Zelda (wolf-form too x3) and the female main chara of poke B/W are very good charas too :3
i can't choose 1 chara of videogames the best because all have their own good abilities and styles X3

I would have to say my favorite video game character would have to be either Doragon C. Mikado from The Bouncer, Cloud From FF7, or Dante from Devil May Cry series. The reason Doragon would be one of my favorites is because of his storyline. He was an orphan, along with his sister, Dominique, whom was sick and dying. A martial artist named Mr.Mikado took them both in after Doragon agreed to it. The agreement was Mr.Mikado would pay for his sister's hospital bills if he agreed to be the heir to the Mikado Company. Doragon was thinking about his sister when he agreed. The reason Cloud would be one of my favorites is because he was awesome in FF7. And finally, the reason Dante would be one of my favorites is because Dante is an epic boss. >. -Venom

   Wow, the task of choosing my favorite video game character is a loaded one, although it boils to two parts: personality and ability.  Personality as in how the character acts at times, and more importantly how he/ she REACTS to different people/ situations.  The ability part is how capable/ competent the character is at completing challenges in his/ her way; granted, capability comes from the player's skills most of the time, so the capability has to come from the story of the character.
   With all of that in mind, I can narrow it down to three candidates: Link, Nathan Drake, Solid Snake, and Kratos.  Link is capable of taking down any task set before him, taking them on like a master swordsman (even if he is a bit fresh at swinging steel around) and although his personality might be a bit sparse every now and then, he does display various emotions in some of the later titles and has clear motivations as to why he does what he does (giving a helping hand to struggling locals, saving someone close, delivering deserved justice, etc).
   Nathan Drake is also a capable character, resorting to agility and gun play for whatever he encounters.  As an experienced archaeologist/ thief, he does have varying amounts of trust placed into others, making for interesting scenarios.  He does seem somewhat borrowed from different recognizable characters, especially one archaeological globe-trotter who can "whip it".
   Then comes Solid Snake, a government agent who specializes in stealth action or firearms obtained from the mission site.  He too has ranged trust values, what with him being undercover and whatnot, although that does lead to him being not the biggest ray of sunshine.
   And finally, there is Kratos.  A Spartan commander who had been deceived by the ruling Gods of Olympus, starting with Ares, Kratos holds no mercy to those who either stand in his way, or worse, breaks their promises to him; plus, his trust in others is reduced from nearly none to no one whatsoever.  He is known as a brutal force of nature, using both his strength and vicious weapons do his deeds.
   So all in all, Link is epic, Kratos is fierce, Snake is awesome, and Drake is social.  My favorite character of those four would be the one from the most recent game that I played.  They are all inexplicably great as characters, and although I tried analyzing each one individually, there is no way they can be compared to one another.  Of course there are other great characters as well that deserve mention, from Mario to Cloud, from Crono to Master Chief, and from the King of All Cosmos to Vivi.  Yet the four I focused on in this post are the greatest ones in my mind.

My favorite character is Kurt Hectic . Not very many people may know him, as he is part of an underrated series, known as MDK. I like Kurt because his coil suit allows him to do all sorts of things to his enemies and himself, from cloaking to the worlds smallest nuclear bomb, he is defiantly one of the coolest video game characters I have ever come across. He Is right up there in the list for me along with Sonic and the Freeman (Half Life 2)

Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia. Not only is he awesome, but he has a great heart and a personality like a regular teen has, which makes him REALLY REALLY likeable!

My favorite is Sonic and will always be, because he meets my needs of video games. I like fast action and platformers and that is exactly what Sonic is.

My personal favorite video game character would have to be Spyro. Where can you go wrong when you are playing as a purple dragon to help and save your friends from all of their troubles. Spryo has been my personal favorite for many years and is a great character all around.

I gotta say... Sephiroth. The definition of evil. He is dangerous and is smart. Which is a really bad combination. I like a lot of game characters, Just for some reason he stuck out the most. And that epic sword. Now I wanna play it again ha ha

Zack Crisis core final fantasy I just love his story line and also how even thought cloud looked like he was dead he still took him along so that shinra wouldn't get him and the final battle against the shinra  army was amazing and sad how during the fight he forgot everyone he knew and that he was about to win about to beat the army and he was killed also even sadder the Turks were going to save him but they were to late

My favorite is Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid. For me the best Video game character ever.

I have many favorite video game characters. 
Probably my most favorite one of all time would be....
Megaman! The reason being... Megaman has a very cool
robotic suit that has a mega buster which is amazing. When
he defeats a robot boss he gains a different ability for his
mega buster and his suit colour changes as well.

My favorite character is Roger Wilco from the Space Quest series.

Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong Country. I love the humor and the personality in that game. Mario and Sonic, for example, hadn't developed such distinctive personalities in 1994. The Kongs did. Gotta love Rare.
