Welcome to Vizzed, Tock. I hope you enjoy your time registered on Vizzed. I have an opinion about your introduction above. This introduction is not seriously an introduction. It includes you enjoying old video games. That's not an introduction. It would be more greater if you had created a thread about you enjoying old video games. You should've stuck to this topic on a different thread. You should include more effort into your thread creating.

Local Moderators : I think this thread should be removed and trashed. This is not a serious introduction. It only includes Tock enjoying old video games. He should have created a separate thread about this. I recommend Tock creating another newbie thread

Well, since you enjoy old video games, maybe, we may get to know each other better because I also enjoy old video games, too! Well, overall in this post, I enjoyed reading this created thread a few amount of times. I enjoy old video games extremely much, especially the classic Mario series. Next time, you may include plenty of more effort into your next post. I recommend if you would create another newbie thread. I will obviously reply to your thread. Good luck, have fun, avoid breaking the rules and regulations to avoid being banned, and enjoy! By the way, I would have been completed with this reply a while ago, but I lost it because I accidentally click Ctrl V together. That shocked me and had me angry. Wow! This was my largest post since I've been registered on Vizzed. I'm extremely glad! Good luck, Tock!

ProGamer135 : You act as if that's a problem that he didn't know what else to say. Maybe the fact that most Newbie threads tend to get questions about the person anyways should show that this has potential.

Tock : So, think you could say a bit more about yourself? Like, if you like to do anything besides play old games? Like maybe some TV shows or books you like? Anything that could help us get a better idea of who you are. It's just a thought.

That right there implies you think it isn't good enough. A newbie thread can be as long winded or short as you want. You can reveal your darkest secrets, or only say about how you go to the site for the games. You also act like the thread can't have the topic change, which we are disproving right now. If he wants to say any more about himself, he can do that. There's no problem with this thread as it is.

silverthundr : He only mentioned himself enjoying old video games. An introduction is your time to shine and express yourself. He clearly hadn't arrived at that goal, not that it matters. Although, why must you create such a giant deal out of this. It's my opinion and you can't convince me to reassure it. Try that on for size...

Any intro thread is fine, so long as it's not pure spam or in the wrong forum. Reporting it to the local mods is completely unnecessary, and only makes the newcomer feel like he is in trouble for introducing him/herself.

Sorry you have to get caught in the middle of this debate, Tock.

This is what most newbie threads are like. I don't know why ProGamer thinks it's his job to tell Newbies what they should and shouldn't post.

ProGamer135 : I'm sorry that my post was not explanatory enough for you, but I really dislike the general "Who are you?" questions.  I'm much better with more specific inquiries.

Silverthunder: For TV, I watch Big Bang Theory and Once Upon a Time.  I'm kinda addicted to Once and I'm miffed that they haven't had a new episode for two weeks.  I do love reading.  I mostly stick to sci-fi and fantasy, but realistic fiction is pretty neat too.  Favorite wise I love Tamora Pierce's Circle of Magic books.
