Ah, good old fashioned Mega Man. Released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1987.
Let's look at the controls. They aren't bad at all! A to jump, press B to shoot, and the d-pad to move. Use Start to pause the game and be gave the option to switch to a different weapon. Pressing Select instead of Start will pause everything, you just can't choose different weapons.
There are 9 stages in the game, 9 fun stages. They are hard, but no worries! The game is still enjoyable and fun! The story isn't that huge, but it's still good. The game is very addictive, I can't stop playing it. It's fun. Remember that when you defeat a robot master, you get their weapon. The music is great, you will love it. The sound is actually very good for a NES game. The graphics aren't that bad. In fact, they are some of the best graphics I have seen for a 80s game. The game isn't big, but still enjoyable. And it's also very buggy, and has lots of glitches in it. One of the most famous glitches is the pause trick, which I don't use. Shoot a weapon that goes through enemies, and then press select while the weapon you fired is in the enemy. Wait for their temporary invincibility to be over. Press select again and it will double the damage. You can do it more then twice. You can kill Ice Man with one Electric Beam doing this. Another glitch, get the Magnet Beam in Elec Man's stage, then go to Ice Man's stage. When you reach the place where it's one more drop to the boss area, (where that 1-up is) take out the Magnet Beam. Climb back up the corridor using it. Then, touch the platform where the 1-up is (you won't be able to see yourself doing it) the game will think you have dropped into the next room, and show the screen going down. You will skip the big eye. There are many more glitches, but I can't list them all here. Overall, this is a fun addictive game. I suggest you play it.
