I obviously prefer substitutes because we don't really do a lot of Homework when there is a substitute around.

Its more in the middle, I do like some substitutes, but I love the teachers too, so I can't really say which is better.

Ha ha ha ! I like having substitutes because you might watch a movie. Especially when the substitute is a push-over, you can totally go crazy! ha ha ha

I generally like substitutes with one exception. There was a substitute at my high school who earned the nickname "Troll." She was a short, wide woman who was just generally rude. An innocent joke between friends was clearly rudeness that was grounds for a detention. I actually noticed (and shared with my classmates) that she looked a lot like Professor Umbridge from the fifth Harry Potter book.

For teaching, I generally like regular teachers more because they know what they're talking about.

But a sub once in a while is fine because you get a nice break. x3

Substitutes. My teachers give way too much work, so it's nice to have a sub who lets us chill in class for the whole period. =3

When I was in school, it really depended on the class. I actually liked quite a bit of my classes and teachers, so the only class I liked when we had a substitute in was math.
Whenever we had a sub in any other class, I didn't like it. They were either to lenient or too strict.

If I don't like the teacher that the substitute is subing for, then I really like subs better.

But this year I don't "hate" any of my teachers, at least not like last year.

Last year everyone, and I mean everyone hated my algebra teacher, she was boring, hated freshman(which we were), very picky, discriminatory, and just an all around drag to in the class room with. It was such a joy to have a sub for her, we pretty much prayed for it happen as often as it would..

Also my Spanish teacher last year, we all hated her too, for pretty much all the same reasons as we hated our Algebra teacher.

Other than those, I'd rather have the actual teacher.

I never had much of a problem with any of my teachers that I recall, but I liked subs because they tended to be more fun and sociable, wanting to get to know us and pal around with us (especially if they were scheduled to be there for more than a couple days). Most of the funner substitutes let us get away with all sorts of shenanigans as well.

I like substitutes better. They are more fun plus you can get away with more stuff like sneaking out of class.

I liked substitutes better when I was in high school, but I hate them now that I'm in college. Most of my classes in college consist of me listening to lectures and taking notes. When there are substitutes we have to do work sheets and stuff. I don't like work sheets.

I used to like the subs better because sometimes it was a change up in the rather boring atmosphere that was usually there with the regular teachers. And the lesson was sometimes different as well. But people have to be careful because sometimes the subs can be worse than the normal ones. I've had a few of those in school back in the day.

Usually I didn't mind most of our subs except two in my life time...

One was Mr.Dunce who would not teach us anything and just sit all through class swearing at us and just being awfully mean to us kids until 7th grade. The first day he subbed for us in 7th grade our class president had him locked up in the class room and got the principal and vice principal down to the room. On the spot the teacher got fired and later his licence revoked~!!

Then in 12th grade we had a sub for english class while our teacher was going through surgery. 12th grade english is play time I mean we did have to do some poems or creative writing but that's just for show. Though when this sub came in she was trying to teach us english like we were first graders!!!! We got so fed up with her we went to the principal and asked for a change of teacher. She was trying to teach us how to spell simple words. We had spelling tests!!! Thankfully our prayers were answered and our english class was turned into a study hall!!

It depends on the substitute, usually i get the ones that always like to write people up. I think thats the reason why i have so many demerits.
My friend got arrested cuz of a substitute trying to take his phone.

I'd say I prefer teachers, but it's not like I dislike substitutes or anything... sometimes it's just frustrating when they have little to no idea what's supposed to be the topic of the lesson. There's a teacher in my school who is ill nearly every other week, so his substitute is quite familiar with the classes he teaches by now, including mine. The substitute's lessons are always really restless in the case of my class, so naturally people learn very little those times. The teacher, however, thinks that the class has actually covered the things he had meant  to during his absence, so he goes and makes really hard tests. That truly ticks me off at times.

I love subs.

They are so easy to tease, and mislead.

Plus they generally make class more fun since they arent so stressed.

I've made friends with substitute teachers, and often times seen them more than once.
