So this is where I write my one year speech, eh? I can't promise that you can read it all in one sitting but you might as well try.

Where do I start? Well, this year has been a long ride. Lots of ups and downs. I've seen this board come from the brink of disaster to absolute prosperity. I've seen pissed off members and I've seen people have the time of their lives. This has got to be the most fun I've had in a year in my entire life. Thank you, everybody. Thanks for giving me a reason to wake up everyday and look forward to something when I get home.

Some personally might think that I've been pretty lax and haven't done much on Vizzed... and while that is partly true, I believe I'm the first one ever who can say that I've done this in 365 days:

*Get permabanned, then un-banned.
*Start a rebellion against Vizzed, then have it disbanded, then have it form again only to have it dissolve.
*Become a local moderator.
*Hack into chat twice and find large holes to protect Vizzed from malicious attackers.
*Become RGR staff.
and most importantly...
*Become friends with the greatest people around.

Now to summon people.

Wow, what a ride. I hope you've enjoyed this year so far. I believe that you're one of the few people that actually have given me more then my fair share of chances as far as proving myself to be a good person to talk to and share personal info with. Remember this? I've linked to it so many times before because the memories are so bittersweet. We were such idiots back then. I remember the first time I actually talked to you, it was regarding thumbs, back when they still were in existence. We each gave each other +1, and we felt so special. I remember when the trust system wasn't abused, and it was actually hard to become trusted. Where have those days gone?

Then, when you got in hot water, I still stuck by you. This, I believe, is what makes true friends. And then when I got perma'd, you still kept coming to my chat room just to talk. It made me feel real special.

And now recently, with the whole spree thing. It shows that we still are good friends and we're willing to do lots of things with each other.

What a fun year. And to many more, eh?

Without you, I wouldn't have achieved the thing that I've been working for for months now, this title as local mod. We've become pretty good friends and I hope to stay in contact with you for a long time.

Zamiel : Yo! Is your pimp hand tired still? (lame inside joke) I'd write a lot but I don't honestly have a lot to say. I just know that you're an almighty friend of mine and I enjoy your company whenever you get the chance to come online.

big fat cat : Man, you know we've been friends forever. We met in the same place I met with leggy, in the thread I posted above. Although we weren't the best of friends originally, I think we've grown on each other A LOT. Here's to my #1 Enyclopedia Dramatica resource, and a very good friend of mine.

I'd write more to people but I honestly don't have many more personal things to say. Thanks for being good friends, guys. I'm gonna summon some others to see this thread then I'll wrap this thing up.

Now that I've taken the time to read this post of yours, memories keep flowing back.

I have to agree, that over the past year (has it really only been a year?), we've become the best of friends, and we've overcome more than anyone expected of us.

When I dipped myself in hot water, you stood by me.

When you dipped yourself in hot water, I stood by you.

We've broken up as friends, we've gotten back together, we've experienced loss, hate, tragedy, but at the same time, we've seen great success, love, and happiness.

We've got our differences, and occasionally we have to kick each other in the ass.

Like the time you banned me on another site. And I re-regged as Bengie. For a month, we didn't talk to each other much.

Then things changed. Things were better.

Over the past year, you've grown so much (as have I, but I already made that thread), and I'm so proud at what you (as well as we) have accomplished in only one year. If you weren't here, I certainly wouldn't have hit 350 posts in one day, I would not have had the motivation to skyrocket passed you for 5000, and I would not have had the motivation to keep bettering myself on this site.

I love you man (no homo). You are my best friend, and I'm bordering on tears as you are actually here for your one year. So long ago it felt like this would never happen. But it is. It's like attending your little brothers high school graduation.

Congratulations on your first year. You deserve all the praise you get today.

Congrats on making it to a full year here on Vizzed. I wasn't here for the whole time, but I've heard of the many ups and downs you had on the site and I respect you for sticking through it all. I was here during the whole permaban episode, but I'm glad you managed to pull through that too. x3

Despite what anyone says or what you believe, I don't hate you at all. I probably came in during a bad time (see above) but overall, I consider you a friend as well. Here's to another fantastic year on Vizzed, casu.

I've banned a lot of people who have turned into good members. I've probably banned half the current staff Maybe not half, but you know what I mean.... I find it either stops the bad attitude and turns people around or it pushes them over the edge and we get rid of a problem member. Win-win in my books

The most memorable thing I can think about having to do with you would have to be the perma-ban incident. At the time I joined I came here with the cynical view that people never change. Seeing you get permanently banned then returning to become a regular member surprised me but I stayed on the defensive; uncertain what to think of the situation. The more time that passed, the more I shrugged off the event and thought everything was just normal. Now you are a local moderator, helping out wherever you can. I've got some head-scratching I need to do on my own time. Congratulations on being a member here for a whole year, and for (indirectly) changing me for the better.
