.....

what?

Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson is a boxer not a wrestler.

I personally prefer pre-2000 wrestling and post 70's wrestling. 80's and 90's wrestling was awesome. I think that is when wrestling really hit it's heyday. Now it's sort of meh to me. Sure there is still some awesome stuff outside of WWE but it's not great.

I like classic wrestling more, particularly 80s wrestling. Nowadays, wrestling feels and looks really bland with only a few wrestlers giving decent entertainment for the crowd.

seanne : Considering I started my career as a writer covering Wrestling I might be a little over qualified for this question. I grew up in the 80s and back then there was so many different promotions on a regional level but the big three promotions were the WWF, NWA and, AWA. I watched them all but watched the WWF the most as all the Pay-Per-Views I would order were WWF cards etc. I enjoyed them all and have fond memories of my youth watching them all. I even on occasion still turn to TBS on Saturday nights out of habit as that was the night for the NWA/WCW for years.

Without going into too much detail because as I said I covered the business. I will say that I wish we could go back to the 80s because among other reasons there was more variety for people to watch where as now of days the WWF is really the only game in town that’s solid. I do miss the NWA/WCW days though as well as the AWA. Back in my favorite decade there was simply a little bit of everything for everybody where as now it’s pretty much here it is whether you like it or not, simply because there really isn’t a legitimate alternative to the WWF that can compete.

Hope I did my best to answer your question without going into too much detail.

geeogree : He's probably talking about when Tyson first came to the WWE during the DX days when it was Triple H, Chyna and HBK while HBK and Steve Austin fueded and all hell broke loose. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I'm still down with the old. This new stuff is just meh... I still wonder what the WWE would be like if Owen Hart, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero were still alive.... Some of the best this business has ever produced especially owen...

bvd1022: TNA is also around as well though it needs a MAJOR overhaul.
