How do I just go back to having no layout? I have the free premade layout but it makes it hard to see pics i've posted since the space is small...

unknown0s : For some reason there is no way for you to go back to no layout. You'll have to private message Davideo7/geeogree about getting it switched back to no layout.

Hm.. I know enough to make a layout with codes, but it doesn't seem I'll be able to do that for a long time, lol.. Right now, I have no trusted points. I'm sure people have tried all the time to earn them the wrong way.. Is there any particular way to earn them that is still actually an honest way to prove that you're worthy for the title 'trusted' that wouldn't take as long as it might seem for where I am right now? Perhaps I should just reread the trusted points system over again, but sometimes I understand answers from people better than pre-written guides. :9

BeingThree : There is no specific method to earning trust points --some say the trust point system is more of a popularity system. It all depends on who has the power to give and take points and why they choose to do so. That is why the system has been abused before. A few months ago it was too easy for people to hand out trust points to anyone. Originally it only took 5 TP to become "trusted" and anyone could give up to five (or ten, I forget) ratings per day. The points needed to be trusted have been doubled to 10, and people can only give up to 3 ratings a day now.

There is only one (proper) way to become a trusted member, and that is to follow the rules and respect other members. With time, some of the members may take notice and reward you as they feel is worthy. Also, some of us will actually give a negative rating when someone asks us for TPs. If you have any more questions on this, feel free to send me a private message.

I can give up to 5 Trusted Points to a person, and I think AuraBlaze has proven he is "trusted". He gave a well thought out overview of the trusted system, so I will reward him with 1-5 TPs based on how helpful I think he is. (not that he needs them)

Basically if you are a good member, you will become trusted the right way

Mhm. :] It's just a matter of following the rules and showing everyone that you want to bring nothing but good for the Vizzed community. I'd mistaken how many trusted points one needed to become trusted when I made that post, so I really was confused, lol..

Thanks Zammy. I knew there were do's and donts of a layout but I couldn't find the actual thread.

AuraBlaze : I don't know if it's outdated or not but the FAQ says one only needs five posts to be "Trusted", but does reflect the rest of the changes you mentioned. I guess I'll figure it out soon enough.

BeingThree : You're on the right track, but you also need to make people think about giving you trust points, as well. Just being a normal person won't really make anyone think about giving trust points. You need to be helpful, and insightful. Don't make good posts, make GREAT posts.

To be trusted you need to get 10 trusted points.

They are received from other trusted members.

The amount of TP one has can determine how much they can give you (for example, I can give or take 5)

It's not too hard to become trusted, and you are on the right track.

Sorry if this has been asked before, or if the answer is somewhere that should be obvious. :/ Is there a way to delete photos from our Photo Album on our profiles? I accidentally uploaded some layout images twice.

Annette : Last I knew you couldn't. But I haven't really been keeping up with the sites updates or been around really to know.

Nope. David said you can ask him if you need it deleted, but he also said that he's only going to delete a photo if you have a really good reason. Apparently having more photos helps his site get more hits, and that's something he really likes.

It would be cool if we could have different albums, though. Like a main album, a test album, and a junk album. So when we first upload a photo we could put it in the test album. Then if we like it we could move it to our main album, which would be the one that shows up on our profile. But if we didn't like it, we could move it to our junk album. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I know that I've uploaded the same images a number of times just playing around with them in the layout editor. It would be pretty nice to be able to make things a little more organized, I think.

soxfan849 : I agree with that. I pretty much have it figured out, but the first few times I tried, the images ended up being too big a filesize for the layout editor but small enough for the album, so I was confused. Now these duplicate images will be sitting in my album forever. Really I just want them removed because I have OCD, and I don't want to bother David with something unimportant.

I've had all kinds of issues. Sometimes I forget to lower the quality of the image, so the file size is too big. Sometimes the dimensions aren't quite right. Sometimes I forgot to make the background transparent. It's always something, and I always realize right as I go to upload it. Honestly, I don't think there is an image in my photo album that doesn't have a duplicate. And like you, I can be pretty OCD. I tend to stay away from my own profile page now. Otherwise I feel pretty depressed. Seriously, if yours is ever bothering you, feel free to look at mine to remind yourself just how good you have it.

Well, thank you for making this thread for us. It will surely help me when I try to make a thread in the future. I still have one question I need to be answered. You know the two other layout designs by the first one you have. How do you get them? Do you have to be a Trusted Member to obtain them? I'm curious because I want to make those kinds of layouts.

lugiaboy : You mean the one's I used as good examples? Two other user's made them their selves from scratch. There is no obtaining them you either make your own layout or buy one in the layout shop.
