In the game, you have a character. Your character is defined by the following stats.

Immaterial statistics; Consciousness, Awareness, Openness Emotional Well-being, Esteem, Imagination Personal statistics; Fitness, Health Physical location

Within the course of the game, these stats may change for the better or the worse, or perhaps stay the same. Over the course of the game, you accrue further statistics through interaction with the game environment.

Immaterial statistics; Memories Plans, Beliefs Personal statistics; Relationships Criminal backgrounds, Security clearances Fiscal statistics; Employments Potentially Liquidated Assets Credit ratings

When you dream, or when you complete the game, the only scores that you bring with you are the Immaterial statistics. Your consciousness. Your esteem. Your imagination. Your beliefs. Your memories, and your desires. All other stats are closed, deactivated, shut down, reused or recycled. That is the way of things.

Even though your relationships or grudges may seem all-important, but they can be taken away at any time by an accident or a change of heart. Be prepared, each moment, for things to go wrong. But work with things as if they are to go right.

I didn't come up with it all on my own, believe it or not. But yes, Life is a real videogame. You just haven't won yet.

Did you want there to be a real game with variables such as these? I'll think about it.

Or more along the lines of video games being based on life.

Obviously... Someone should make a game, where all you do... Is live your own life... Like the sims, but more.. Realistic... Ehh? ehh?

That would be awesome, but I was thinking of living in the FF7 world, but when I thought about it afterwards I said to myself hell no I could die with monsters chasing after me and stuff. The sims world would be cool.

Yup. Our bodies are complex machines, but our consciousness cannot be called a machine, or even a part of it. Our mind is immaterial, and our spirit, eternal (if you suscribe to the theories of quantum thermodynamics, at least).

Its confusing, but sorta all sorta makes sence...

Not into books either.... I think that last book I actually read (besides poetry... that doesn't count)... was Mr. Tucket by Gary Paulsen.... (Its a kids book... For those who don't know)

Mage the Ascension sliced reality up neatly into 10 Parts. Mages were able to manipulate ANYTHING in reality, by using the Part that they were skilled in, and explaining their way through it to make the magic seem like a coincidence. (There are penalties if you cannot make that huge fireball seem like a coincidence.)
