I watched this on the Hub a while back and thought that it was a complete joke. Then I actually watched it more than once and ended up liking it. I do not think it is that bad. Though I fell gay watching it.

I like this show, but hardly have time to watch it. It's not so girly I could puke, and not so stereotypical, it offends the female gender. Or maybe it does. Bronies unite, I guess? Even if I'm not one...

I watch this show with my daughter whenever it's on... I actually quite enjoy it

It's not that bad of a show.... but I can't take it too seriously... it's just a bit of fun to me.

I've seen it a few times. My friend and I were babysitting her neighbor a few weeks ago and the kid was watching it. I cannot take it seriously. I spent half the time with my face looking like this: . It's not a BAD show, it's just ... Even though it was with a five-year-old, I still felt weird watching it. xD

I definitely wouldn't go as far as calling myself a bronie...but the show is half way decent. If I had a daughter or little sister, I would totally watch it with them all the time so that I could use the excuse that I'm watching it becasue of them .

I knew someone had to mention this show.I don't hate it but I feel MEGA gay watching this.In fact one time I was watching this on my computer (don't ask why),my cousin walked in and I switched to porn,besides, its easier to explain.

This is very bad to have as a cartoon because the brony syndrome has spread so far. I hate My Little Pony, I feel as if it should never belong on TV, or videos.

So yeah i like the show... I love the community... and i like creating layouts of MLP.... I swear every time some mentions MLP i get summoned now 0_o

I knew it!  I knew there was a thread like this here!  I FOUND IT!

I've been watching Season 3 now and I was kinda worried since Lauren Faust now has 0% involvement in the show (at least she had a LITTLE bit in Season 2) so I wasn't sure what was gonna happen or if it was gonna degrade in quality... but so far, it's still an enjoyable show so I guess they just got a good writing staff for this one.

What really drew my attention to this show in the first place is that it has a lot of the same qualities about it that draw me to anime. To be honest, I almost never watch Western cartoons because a lot of them just aren't my style. They have no real plot ever and are just a bunch of random, disconnected episodes of nonsense. The anime I watch is a lot more coherent and drives towards some overarching plot. I feel like FIM does the same thing and has similarly interesting characters to the style that you might find in anime. It's a bit more kidified than I'd care for... but not to the point of being unwatchable.

I think ultimately they're aiming for what I call the "Disney effect". If you look at Disney movies, they're made to be watchable by children but at the same time, with stuff that the parents of those children that hafta watch it with them can still appreciate and enjoy. That's when you know you have something quality when people of all ages can get something out of it.
