I think we all wanted a meeting, but things just never really worked out for us; unfortunately. Regardless, I am glad to see the merger is going along well enough despite the problems with our meetings. I apologized a few times in an email (he sent me one, asking where I was... seemed kind of... slightly infuriated... ), though I never got a response.

Glad to see it all worked out in the end. I'll look foward to seeing the new site, when it gets made. Post it for us whenever it is ready.

Hey, what's the latest on the Slashdot article? I'm trying to remember whose hands that was in...

Hmmmmm... even our leader is uncertain in concerns to what is going on. Probably be good for everyone still working on something to say it so we can keep track of it. Frankly, my work is pretty much done. I haven't really done much other than give tips and opinions on subjects since I finished making up the petitions. At one point I was told to do the Slashdot Article, but as Propagator is a really good writer for these kinds of documents, he ended up taking that role. I don't recall if that position got switched over to anyone else. Chances are, it is still in his hands.

In other words, he is probably the guy you want to talk to.

Jake, the CTremake.com might have to be registed with a differenct company next year, that is if they let us take the domain name to a different company. PM me for more details.

I haven't seen him in a while. Not sure if he is still around.

The Slashdot article was finished and submitted a while ago. I can resubmit it if necessary, but we decided not to release it until we get the new site out, because there was a link to our site in it, remember?

Been eons since much of anything has happened. Anyway, this is fairly obvious... but have we added ourselves to the Chrono Trigger Wiki? It isn't exactly the greatest method of publicity in terms of mass-public viewing... but it can attract those who are INTERESTED in information about Chrono Trigger, who happen to stumble upon our site address.

So what about it? Anything can help at this point. At the very least, putting ourselves on the CT Wiki will give us some credit for what we have done thus far. I think anything that can get the word about us out there is good at this point. Questions... comments?

Frankly... I am almost angry with myself for not mentioning it earlier. Well... anyway... I wouldn't mind adding information about us in there. If you want me to, that is. Of course... WHAT I say has to be decided upon.

I suppose we should basically summarize what the petition is about, list the staff members (though a few are probably not really active anymore), and give a link for the website. Perhaps even give a link to one of the petitions. Anything else come to mind?

I'd say to keep it basic... I love the idea though and I'm also a little surprised we didn't think of it before.

Talked to Wayne today. Site progress is slow but sure. He'd like to get one of his crew over here into our forums to help out a bit and the job here will be to come up with more ideas like that Wiki one and just get us in front of more eyes. Wikipedia might be another route too, if we keep it VERY basic and are professional.

Maybe just saying, "Several fan groups have attempted to produce a remake of the Chrono Trigger title, and numerous petitions on websites such as iPetition.com and PetitionOnline.com have also implored Square-Enix to remake the game. Currently the most active force in this effort is the Chrono Trigger Remake Petition, which operates by physical signatures and purports to have the support of Square-Enix's American office."

I was gonna put a little more there, explaining just what "support" we have (translation and presentation to Japan), but I think that little blurb is enough...and it's enough to get someone curious enough to click the link.

Anyway.... as of now the "Chrono Trigger" section does not speak of petitions. Potentially, I could add that section. Perhaps naming it, "Other Fan Projects". For right now I just added a link to our (current) website in the External Links section.

Anyway, we aren't allowed to really BLATANTLY advertise. It seems to be sort of like an unwritten rule. What we CAN do though is define our project, its members, and how to access it. Therefore... we need to decide on something.

OTHER FAN PROJECTS:

- Chrono Trigger Remake Petition -- A project founded by Jacob Kuntzman and Michael Kelly with the intent to have an official Square-Enix remake of Chrono Trigger on a modern console, thus having more realistic graphics that can compliment the story further than the original allowed. Unlike most other petitions, this petition is to be hand-signed and mailed to the leader, Jacob Kuntzman. The petitions will be collected, and the signatures counted until the goal of 25,000 signatures is reached, in which the petitions shall be sent in masse to the Square-Enix of America offices. Yes, that is for THE wikipedia. Problem is... I just noticed a potential problem. Despite the fact that I entered what I at the time thought was our address JUST yesterday... it seems someone actually went over the article and removed our link (the only addition I made at the time). It was JUST a link. No article... no story... nothing. They still removed it. I can TRY adding the story and the link. They MIGHT have removed the link because it had no story behind it. On the other hand, they might have removed it just because they don't like our project for whatever reason.

Due to this... I am becoming a little nervous about getting it on there.


Anyway, if you thought that article was O.K., then I will proceed in putting it on Wiki. For it to look more-appropriate, I don't think our project should be the only one mentioned though, otherwise it might seem like an advertisement. I might go ahead and mention the section as "Remake Attempts". Therefore I can mention CTRP, CTR, and also the petition. Of course... before doing so I probably should check up on what they think of it.

Sounds like a good plan. All they can do is take out the link, not much we can do if they do. I typed CT Remake Petition on Google and we were 5 or 6 down, with no description. We need to fix that.

Edit: Maybe we should make sure our link is in external links or the very bottom where it says Chrono Trigger and mentions fan tributes?
