Well from what I understand the Commodore 64 was more an 8-bit home computer then a gaming console, and as such didnt even use controllers.
This is probably why you cant get the controller to work with it.
But I'm not sure.

I'll move this thread to the RGR help section, you might get a better answer there.

Some, or a lot, of the C64 games are playable and/or require the joypad. The batch that Vizzed has is currently in the testing phase; so some of them aren't compatible with the JaC64 emulator. However, the completion of the testing is due on the 14th of this month so this issue is more likely to be resolved after then. Until then, the triggers of the joypad will function on the keyboard as Right Ctrl = Right Trigger and 0 on the Numpad = Left Trigger, you might have to unlock the number lock.
