Thankfully this is only going to affect the companies that re-sell bandwidth.... but I don't see why this won't affect everyone eventually. This ruling is ruining the telecommunications industry in Canada. =/

alexanyways : it only currently affects the companies that buy bandwidth from Bell (I think). Anyone else shouldn't be affected... but once it gets started.... what is stopping other companies from doing the same? or increasing prices once the competition is bankrupt.

And as far as I can tell all the alternatives in my area are doing the same thing.
