Any computer that instructs a program to delete another program but instead winds up with collateral damage is full of crap. Either that or the second program could be a virus, but I highly doubt that anti-virus software will be firing lasers at GIMP. Microsoft Office Word maybe, but not GIMP

No, it's not, lol. That would be just the same as saying our white blood cells have guns and fight the evil invading bacteria army. It's a funny prospect, but it isn't what actually happens. That would be pretty awesome though, and maybe there would be some way to go in you computer and tell it what to do, and then everyone would be computer friendly.
