Here's some brief TdV info:

Each day there will be 4 Jerseys you can compete for:
Yellow Jersey: Most words in a day
Blue Jersey: Most posts in a day
Red Jersey: Most CP in a day
Green Jersey: Most CP actions in a day

If you get 1st place in a Jersey for a day, you get to "wear" that Jersey the following day. To "wear" it means that the background of your username will have a unique background graphic. Only the top 5 places of each Jersey gets points, 1st gets 5 and 5th gets 1. Whoever has the most points for any Jersey at the end of the competition gets to wear that Jersey for the entire next month. If you have more than 1 jersey, your jersey receives stripes for each jersey color you own.

Along with the Jerseys are Banners that change your username color. They basically represent who has the most points total:
Rainbow Banner: Whoever has the most points so far in the competition
White Banner: New member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who has signed up in the past 3 months)
Gray Banner: Veteran member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who signed up more than 7 years ago)

Tour de Vizzed Rules:

You'll be DQ'd if:
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in one of the following forums: Crazy House, Vizzed Market, Polls and Questions, Video Game Craziness, Newbie Forum (unless posts are made in your own thread then it's 50%)
-You copy content from other websites or other posts
-You use the "tabbing" technique to make a bunch of posts in a short amount of time
-You're caught cheating or unfairly earning Contribution Points
-You're found to be reviewing games that you have not finished
-You post twice in a row on a thread
-Your posts are found to be below site standard to unfairly gain points or are completely off topic
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in the same thread (your own thread and staff threads are an exception)
-If 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day
-Staff members are not allowed to feature their own reviews during the Tour de Vizzed

Additionally:
If you get DQ'd just once from a Jersey, you can no longer get points for that Jersey for the rest of the month. We will be very strict from now on with the Tour de Vizzed. Only CP actions which you earned CP off of count toward the Green Jersey.

If you get DQ'd from too many Jerseys in too many TdV competitions, you'll be DQ'd from the TdV forever. Also, if you get DQ'd from a single Jersey in too many competitions, you'll be DQ'd from that specific Jersey forever.

Also, if 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day, you'll be DQ'd from the Yellow Jersey. Too many users have waited until the end of the day to submit a bunch of reviews to the site and that's unfair to users competing

Additional Tour de Vizzed Info:

Some CP actions only count as 1 per day. In other words, any action in the below list can only increase your Green Jersey points by 1:
Forum Navigation, Review Rated, User Referral Posted, Video Rated, Post Spell Checked, Visiting Vizzed, Screenshot Rated, Post, Game Commenting, Thread, Thread Reply, Chat Room Minute, Staff Forum Post, Staff Forum Thread and Screenshot Details Added.

These CP actions do not count toward the Green Jersey: Game Content.

Also the following types of threads have been restricted 1 post per day.
This Thread, ABC, Elimination, and Hangman style threads. Currently ask me anythings not restricted unless abused.

Each day there will be a specific CP action which will be worth doubled the points which benefits the Red Jersey competition. Below is a list of which actions are worth doubled on which days this month:

Yay! I've been so excited to compete this TdV, I always go for Blue, but I might go for some other Jerseys.

I will try to win Blue Jersey overall because I'm not very good at CP, or Words. I could say thing about Green, but I get a lot of actions sometimes.

I hope I can do good this tour. I did good last tour, so I'm hoping to finish in the top 4 again.

I always start off a TdV month by telling myself "I'll definitely earn a few jerseys this time!" and then I never do. I'm not even going to tell myself that this time; I know for certain I won't be winning any jerseys this month. Between work being absolutely crazy this summer and having a million things to do with the new house, there is zero shot that I have any time whatsoever to compete. Best of luck to everyone else!

Here we go again, for the second and last time this year. The board heats up with activity as the days outside also do.

We'll see how I can fare this time around. I do plan on relying on my wordy nature to score points here and there, and maybe aim for a jersey or two if my plans for the month end up materializing.

Nothing much I can say for now because my free time will be unpredictable all month long, so good luck for all the regular competitors and may the best user win!

and now for the usual first half of summer tradition hopefully before I have the cravings involving fall feelings or Christmas flavours (the weather hasn't been behaving in Winnipeg of course) and I crave the nostalgic urge to binge watch old commercials and scheduling any holiday viewings

Half kidding. This is going to be a pretty busy month for me, but I would like to rejuvenate my vizzed life this month.

Even if I'm not around too much, I expect to see a ton of activity on the site.

Don't worry guys i wont be competing (and i mean it this time lol). My life has became too busy to so much time onto the TDV. I can't be like becerra and use my phone to compete because i'm ip locked to my pc.

Other than that, i could see tornado and classgame going at it this whole month. Lets see who wins.

Everyone’s life seems to be busy. Times of change and times of uncertainty are upon us.

I would compete but like everyone else, I’ll be busy, especially this first week. If anything, I still want recognition for winning TdV by just using a iPhone because that’s an accomplishment that I doubt anyone else would be able to achieve. This is why I’m one of a kind. Becky is love. Becky is life. Becky is Becky.

Anyways whoever is competing make sure it’s a competition and not a one sided fight. I want tension, I want suspense, and one romance scene to make this perfect.

well I can only post in this thread once a day now, I better make it count....and find a video to put on a game page that isn't You Don't Know Jack the Ride (yeah I only save those if it's a very low moving video on my youtube channel, but since it's gaming season they're going to be scarce for awhile)

Wow I did not expect to win the multi colored banner. To my knowledge I have never done that before. I also did not expect to start in first place. I probably cannot keep that up. My goal is to finish in the top 4. I would also like to say good luck to everyone competing. I didn't used to compete in these, but the past few I have had fun.

classgame really has to find a way to kill those 7 pointers, they can really get push your lead much faster than you think. I could help but that might also take a green jersey away lol.

If tornado keeps this up i can definitely see him taking the rainbow home.
