Flame Stag is a reploid, cyborgs who have human characteristics such as the ability to think, make their own decisions, and they have DNA, who appeared in Mega Man X2. He later became a maverick, reploids who have become a danger to the world. Therefore, lets learn about Flame Stag.

Flame Stag was built by Cain Labs. He quickly rose in the ranks of the Maverick Hunters. General Sigma put him in the elite 17th unit. He was an officer along with his friends Boomer Kuwanger, and Gravity Beetle. He was very effective as a hunter due to his powerful flame attacks and tackle ability. However, when General Sigma went Maverick Flame Stag followed him along with his friends Kuwanger and Beetle. Flame Stag went into hiding during the first game. However, he appeared in the second game as a maverick.

Sigma and the X Hunters ordered Flame Stag to occupy an active Volcano. His job was to trigger an explosive eruption that would block out sunlight and send ash across the world. Thus, plunging the world into darkness and anarchy. His job was not only trigger a massive eruption but the Mavericks had built a base near the Volcano. It could be that the Mavericks were using the volcano for thermal energy. Eventually X made progress near the Volcano and encountered Flame Stag. X destroyed Flame Stag, stopping the massive eruption and freeing the base near the volcano from Maverick control. Although, the volcano would still erupt but it was a natural eruption instead of being caused by Maverick activity.

Appearance- Flame Stag is based off of a deer. He is mostly a blue and orange maverick. He has white hands and flames coming out of his ears. He also has flames for antlers.

Personality- Not Much is known about Stag's personality. However, given how easily he defected to Sigma side. It could be said he is loyal. He was loyal to General Sigma. He was also loyal to his friends. When they defected he went along with them. It could be said he has a do not care attitude. He did not care that joining his friends and General would make him a Maverick. Moreover, he did not care that his actions would have been a disaster for the world due to darkness and anarchy. In addition, given how his job was to cause anarchy he probably does not respect authority except for Sigma and the X hunters, who were created by Sigma.

Abilities- Flame Stag can tolerate volcanic heat as he does not melt in lava. In fact, lave makes him more powerful. He is also fast and powerful. He has several ways to attack the player. He can also charge up his flame becoming faster and more powerful.

Attacks- Flame Stag has several ways to attack his opponents. His most common attack is the speed burner. Flame Stag will throw powerful and very hot firebals at his opponents. He can also use his speed burner to tackle the player doing even more damage. In addition, Flame Stag can climb the walls and if he connects with opponents he will kick them sending them flying. His most powerful attack is grabbing the player and jumping up to the ceiling, then he will slam the player back down doing massive damage. He can also charge his attacks. When he charges his attacks his flames go from orange to blue. When he is charged his attacks do more damage than before. It should be noted he is quick for his size.

Weaknesses- Flame Stag has two weaknesses. His main weakness is the Bubble Splash. The Bubble Splash works like water and limits his flames. It can also keep him from doing his most powerful attacks. His other weakness is the Sonic Slicer. The Sonic Slicer can bounce off the walls hitting him for extra damage. The Slicer also cuts through his thick armor and keeps him grounded.

If the player defeats him they will gain his speed burner. The player can shoot a large fireball at enemies. Also, when the player charges the speed burner up they will turn into a big fireball. The fireball can be used to get across obstacles.

Flame Stag is a powerful maverick that has several ways to attack the player. Despite his size and weight he is very fast for his size. His attacks as I have stated are powerful. He fights similar to how Sigma did in the first game. Thus, he could have copied Sigma's fighting style or he could have had it all along.
