I normally start these posts with news regarding Asphalt 9, but my progress on that game is so slow as of late that I have no news for it. I haven't been lucky with the special or seasonal events and I can't gather the necessary resources fast enough to keep unlocking cars, so updates in this game will have to wait for a later entry.

However, I do have news regarding many other fields for once. While Trackmania is still stuck in Spring season for whatever reason, Master Duel has seen the addition of a new portal, regarding an archetype I didn't know of. I'm now halfway into the second-to-last portal, which was focused on an archetype I used to play and so far so good, but the mixing archetypes get into play from this point on and I fear they messed it up heavily. Hope I'm wrong on this one and I can move on to the newly added portal and discover its playstyle.

As I was exploring the newly added entries in the "holy bible of track mods" for Assetto Corsa, I stumbled upon a mod I passed by and I actually was searching for. Maybe I passed it after I tested it with no result, but I gave it a second chance to see if any updates both for the mod and for my game had fixed the problem. The result was positive, and this turned into a second rundown the list of nearly 2k entries yielding a few positive and unexpected results. Now I can say my sources are fully complete and I can simply stay tuned with the updates.

In TCG Online, I found a way to convert one of the game's resources into cards to expand my decks, and I must say it's a very welcome utility. This is definitely the last push I needed to get my decks fully done, so maybe it's about time I try to delve more into it. However, it seems the game is shifting its tiers towards Expanded mode, still in beta, and some cards there are quite OP so I don't have such a good time there compared to standard. We'll see how things improve and how much free time I can extract from real life to pour into this.

No other updates worth mentioning, but that was definitely more than usual. Now that real life is back in full swing my free time dwindled, so we'll see if that also affects how often do these posts happen or if the news I have to share here aren't precisely fresh news. Whatever it is, I'll be back with more updates soon.

I finally got the progress I wanted in Asphalt and I'm now beyond 60% completion towards my next goal. Progress is indeed slow and has no signs of getting better, so I may perfectly be reaching a limit point. Not gonna be the end of my adventure, because the game is so changing that there's always something to look for every day, but the extremely slow progress is going to hurt badly.

A new portal was added to Master Duel, and once again is an archetype I didn't hear about. In order to start discovering these unknown archetypes, I recently finished the portal I still had to complete and luckily they didn't screw it up too much (in fact they were even a bit bland, to be honest). We'll see what's in store with these unknown portals, hopefully I'll be able to give them a try soon.

Trackmania still hasn't seen the update to the new season. For a reason I ignore I'm stuck in Spring since I downloaded it nearly four months ago. If it has to do with me always playing offline then I can say this game goes out of my library, and I'd even say whatever the reason it should go out but let's keep calm for now.

I wish I had some news for TCG Online, but I haven't been able to delve too much into it because of free time constraints. My motivation isn't very high either nor is it a massive priority of mine, so basically this game could also go out of my library soon enough.

That's how we roll into September. Hopefully I won't have to make any discards or whatever, but real life has many things in store for me and I doubt most of them are actually for the best.

Thanks to new special and seasonal events I've made a massive jump in Asphalt, with 75 cars now unlocked and 80% progression surpassed. The progress will keep going on a bit further and I wonder where can I get it to for the remainder of the month. Next garage level is of course a bit too much just yet, but with the special events and seasons that will potentially be added within the upcoming month because of Christmas and more will definitely craft the way towards that desired goal.

Due to my new routine with work and the upcoming studies I've shifted my focus for consoles. I'm currently playing Mario Tennis on my Wii just for the fun of the challenge whenever I have time to kill, and in my PS4 I'll be using KOF XV for that matter at a later stage. I'll keep an eye open on updates for Master Duel, but it won't be a priority any longer since that game has a much limited offer right now.

In Assetto Corsa, I did a thorough search in my "holy bible" to check those which were not accessible to me (like paid mods or unavailable sources), and I ended up rescuing a few interesting hidden gems. I may run one last search with those tracks I know of but haven't yet investigated further than my sources, but not sure when will I have the time for that. Maybe just before I actually decide to tackle the guide, which could be sooner than what we all think (including me xD).

I ultimately uninstalled Pokemon TCG Live. For the last week or more I haven't had fun playing it for several reasons, and I started to consider heavily why should I stick to it. My dwindling free time coupled with problems the updates brought in eventually took me to this drastic decision so I can focus more in other things. Should be a permanent goodbye, but you can never say never.

Quite the nice amount of news over the last 30 days, impressive that despite having fewer free time I'm able to do this much. We'll see when does the next post come by, though I'll wait until having news for at least three different games/systems before that.

Asphalt 9 got a massive update two days ago. It's not unusual for the developers to drop updates like these every few months, with changes as minor as the visuals or sounds and sometimes entirely new features that spice up the game. Not sure if the update is stable just yet, as I've seen some slight changes go back and forth, but overall it's not a highly relevant update so far and in some cases a step backwards. The new features look promising though, we'll see when can I start exploiting them.

I saw this as the perfect timing to push a bit and get myself up to garage level 16 once and for all. Two new cars I can unlock, but with a higher cost than previous ones means it'll take even more time than usual unlocking them, let alone maximizing them. And the road ahead is extremely long and tedious, so I'll be entirely depending on whatever special events are we gifted with or this will be the end of the line for me most probably.

I completed the "side quest" of Mario Power Tennis, so maybe I'll shift my focus towards my PS4 for the time being. If I can properly access KOF XV I may attempt to complete it, but most probably I'll stick with Master Duel first and complete it before I only check it every so often for updates.

I'm also considering, despite the huge amounts of time I pour into Asphalt, if I should resort to Mario Tennis Aces as my secondary Switch game, I have an itch to play it beyond the rather short Story mode though not sure if I'll enjoy it more than its prequel. For now, however, I have no plans on doing that until I see just how much free time I actually have once my studies lift off again.

That's the start of October for me gaming-wise. Since real life will deplete me of free time, and most of the time I'll try to stay active by writing guides, updates could be scarce from here on now. We'll see what ends up happening, and due to Christmas getting closer I could check if there's any new game I could get my eyes on.

After a very lucky draft, I am now at slightly over 10% completion into my next garage level in Asphalt 9. Took me a long while even with this lucky draw, but I managed to unlock a new car in the process and I'm close to maxing two more, though I've now officially run out of routine special events as I've obtained everything I could from them and now I depend entirely on new/seasonal ones to progress further.

My secondary Switch game has ultimately become Crash Team Racing. I found the way to obtain 101% progression in Adventure mode, and after that I'm playing it occasionally just to earn coins and unlock more cars. I could switch to character skins instead since they're cheaper and I could obtain them much faster but I have a better use for cars rather than skins. A tough decision that would be tied with that fills in for the slots of skins currently available in the shop, and I doubt that's gonna be cars.

In my PS4 I've ultimately sidelined Master Duel. It got new solo portals and what not, but I'm not enjoying them beyond the standard completion point and so I've opted to focus my scarce free time in other things. I might still give a try to KOF XV, we'll see if I get the itch to play it in the coming weeks.

I've also made progress towards Assetto Corsa because I feel like starting writing down the massive guide I'm preparing for it. I did a cleanup of the possible tracks to explore and I've been adding new ones as I encountered them, and now I feel ready to start typing it down. I want to dedicate time to other projects as well, so I'm still considering how I'll manage this situation.

That's the summary of this last month. Next update will surely take a while because I'm not very active in gaming and the progress I can make, with the exception of KOF XV if it becomes a reality, is very low. One last update before the year ends will surely happen, but beyond that it's a mystery.

A month has gone by and I barely have any updates. It really shows just how much of my scarce free time I'm actually spending in videogames (or how seriously I'm aiming to complete them, too xD)

I do have something to share here that truly made my day and has kept me busy for a while. In my search for new Assetto Corsa mods, I finally found a new car worthy of being one of the chosen for my project. I had spent more than a year trying to find it, but anything I came across was faulty one way or the other. It was amazing to find it, and of course it instigated a major shakedown on my track list classification.

I had chosen a car for the twisty and mostly short circuits, and now I have my choice for the high-speed ones as well. By going through the track list there were many ups and downs due to the new car's specs, and I can say it's a lot more balanced now. We could say this was the last missing piece of the puzzle, and if my free time allowed me to do so, I could start writing it down (maybe after Christmas, when I expect to get a new PC controller that allows me to play freely lol).

That's the only thing I had to share. Just today I finished the track reclassification, so now I'm back to my usual schedule. I don't expect coming back here in a long while, but I definitely don't want this to die out. Hopefully I can get updates every so often, wish me luck I guess.

The new year has brought in some succulent updates, some of which were very unexpected.

I managed to surpass 20% progress into the new garage level in Asphalt 9. Looks like I did it a long time ago, but only noticed now after unlocking my 82nd car and realizing I'll be unlocking the 83rd in a couple days time. Still, I have a very long way to go to complete this level and I'm losing hope in actually being able to complete it. Maybe I've already reached the progression limit of these so-called freemium games, or maybe the progression rate has slowed down almost to a halt, whatever the reason I'm slowly moving away from that game at long last and we'll see if I end up dropping it entirely during the course of the year.

Due to holidays and my limited access to internet, I booted up again Mario Party Superstars after a very long time (so much so I almost forgot about the controls xD). It was fun going through all the minigames again and I'm expecting to return to boards as well to try my luck at some in-game achievements. And to think all I needed to fall for this game was just to not be able to use the almost ever-present online functions in many games...

In Assetto Corsa, I kept doing changes to the cars I'd be using. The powerful one can't be moved, but I discovered my choice for the twisty tracks wasn't a production car and so I went for other choices. Initially I picked a car I loved to drive, but since it had very poor stability I ended up choosing another one, which finally seems to be the right one. I'll still be on the lookout for more mods in any choice, just in case, but these two are safe options.

I also keep finding nice track mods around the net, which coupled with my car choices being safe and getting a new controller for Christmas, means I've started to build up the skeleton of that guide. It's a very long project and I haven't yet finished my previous one, but I want to start making it so as to be busy with something I'm motivated for and see if I can use the momentum for other things.

That's everything the first part of the holidays has brought (first and main part, the local holiday we have coming up will be very minor this year). I don't expect a lot of progress in any of my open projects, so unless some surprises happen I shouldn't come here until February, at the very least. And let's hope those surprises are actually good ones.

Finally got over 30% progress in Asphalt. It's really tedious as of late to do any progress, and proof of it is that it took me more than a month to get up here. I sincerely don't think I can get to the next level because even with seasonal events I can't get any real benefit, but as long as I have progress to make I'll stay with it only because it's a good time killer and I don't know what else would take its place.

Not much more progress was made in Assetto Corsa. My search for mods continues but I can't find anything interesting getting added, and the few interesting things don't work for me. I will keep doing it because it doesn't steal a lot of time from me, but sincerely I think I have enough to get that guide done so it's no problem if I can't get new additions to the roster.

Speaking of guides, I attempted one this month but in the end I had no time for it. The selected game was Digimon Rumble Arena, and I had quite a good time beating it as well as some painful moments. I wonder if I'll continue it this month and the next one, where I'll have more free time, or I'll leave it there ready to be tackled at a future occasion and switch my focus to Assetto Corsa and other big projects lying around.

That's my first report of the year. The first true one, the previous one was more wrapping up 2023. Looks like we're set to these monthly reports at the very least, maybe could take even more depending on other factors. We'll see how long it takes me to get back here with something to share.

Managed to surpass 40% progress in Asphalt just today. Looks like, despite goals being harder to get every time, I can manage some balanced monthly progress for now that allows me to have a steady pace. However, that's only because the devs excel at including some incentives from time to time, like special events and new cars, that actually allow me to make much more progress than I could without any "updates". Still, looks like I could complete this current level right after summer ends at its earliest, so if I keep dedicating my daily 10 minutes to it maybe it can be done.

I've been playing some CTR Nitro Fueled on scarce occasions. By pure chance, beyond the daily missions and what not, I discovered a couple side quests I could tackle in order to get some juicy rewards, so I've been dedicating some time to that as well. Since I'm not playing it actively my progress is even slower, even more when I prioritize the daily missions, so it can surely take a long while until I can clear them.

Again, not many things to say about Assetto Corsa. I keep searching for newer additions, but I've been having terrible luck at it with several non-working mods or not being up to the standard. Not like doing this once a week is depriving me of a lot of time, but considering the results and what I currently have I'm not disappointed at what I've been able to create.

That's everything for now. Not much, because my free time hasn't been excessive even during weekends because social life, but I keep doing things and making discoveries worth sharing. I probably won't come back until mid April at least, but it's also true I'll have a bit more free time once my course ends in early April so maybe that can also mean more progress in any field. We'll see what happens, until then happy gaming.

As expected, the new updated came in mid April, for I have surpassed just today the 50% progress in Asphalt 9. It was thanks to a combination of factors allowing me to collect today like 25% of the points I needed since my last post, if it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't have come back for one more week at least. But I managed it, and now I can only look forward to the future to complete the remaining half.

Other than that, I've been playing CTR more often due to being more interested in it. My side quests are still on, and will probably take some time to complete fully, so until then I'm sticking to daily missions and what not to keep unlocking new kart bodies. The variety keeps the game alive so far, so we'll see when I can set aside some time to play it thoroughly.

I've been trying different games in my PS4 since my last post here. I booted up Saint Seiya: Soldier's Soul again because I had an itch to play it after watching the last movie. I've been checking Master Duel regularly as well for updates, and these last days I returned to Project CARS 2 for being the perfect time killer for me. Haven't been playing it much, but it's there for whenever I have a window of opportunity.

I also found a few interesting things in Assetto Corsa after some while, including a potentially new car to use in the guide, so I also have some progress to make there as I take my final decision. I may start writing it down when finished, I'm in need of active projects and this one catches my attention more than any other.

It clearly shows that my free time has increased lately, but even then not many things to say. Hopefully I can work around that instead of playing mostly aimlessly, but it will take time (and I'm not taking it, because I like to spend my free time socializing to recharge batteries rather than relaxing at home). But well, beyond my real life troubles, I guess this is a goodbye until June, when I should have more news to report.

Keeping up with my usual pace, I'm now above 60% progression in Asphalt 9. One of the cars I could level up has been maxed, so that's a source I'm going to lose for the near future. The game updates did bring a good income of vital resources to at least keep the progress for a while, but even then it's a tough road ahead. Unless upgrading cars and installing parts nets me a nice amount of points I could have hit a dead end already, so we'll see if I can actually manage to complete this level.

In CTR, I fulfilled one of the side tasks I had set. In the end it wasn't as troublesome as I thought it'd be, and while I could attempt to push it further I think I'll stay away from that because the prize isn't worth the effort. The other side task will be a real challenge so we'll see when do I have the time to tackle it. Oh, and of course, I keep unlocking new kart bodies in the meantime as well as character skins (though these last ones only because of winning races, not acquiring them in the shop yet as I'm focusing on kart bodies) which will keep me entertained for a while.

This is basically what I've been up to since my last post. Nothing worth mentioning in Assetto Corsa so far, and the only other game I've been playing is Crash Bash because I decided to target it as my next (and first in a long while) guide. Given what's needed to make any further progress in any of my games and the free time I'll have for them in the upcoming weekends, with real life packing a real punch, we'll see if I even make it back before July strikes.

Some time ago I surpassed 70% progression in Asphalt 9. I lost track of my progress and just checked it, which confirmed it hadn't been very recent. An unexpected discovery to accompany the game's latest update: more cars, new tracks, special events and even game modes... A much bigger update than expected, though there are some minor bugs here and there that will hopefully be cleared as the days go by. These news mean I should safely get this level cleared, so the dead end is far from sight right now. And even though I'm tempted to play the game more due to these additions, I'll probably keep a safe distance from that as I don't want to burn it out just yet (and because I want to dedicate my time to more important things).

I'm also making progress in CTR. With my latest purchase, now only 14 more kart bodies remain to be bought. It won't be an easy task because earning coins takes an awful lot, but it seems like a good countdown for when I could be getting a new game for my Switch to steal the spotlight. Also, we'll see if in the time until the next update I can dedicate some time to that side task I have pending and potentially clear everything I wanted out of this game.

Not many more things to say. The search for mods in Assetto Corsa continues, but the results are scarce at most. And it's not like I had time to boot anything else, save for a few games to play with my friends briefly. Hopefully there will be more of this in the future, but probably there won't be enough to be mentioned here.

I should be back before July ends to provide more updates. Real life should ease up from then on as well, though maybe just for a while, so I could also make more progress or revisit more games in that time. Enjoy the newly arrived summer, those who can, and see you in the near future.

I managed to surpass 80% progress in Asphalt 9. A bit earlier than expected but I had help along the way with the new features and what not. A bit of a shame the big update they wanted to make won't come to Switch as expected, it got delayed to an undisclosed date and that has jinxed up the whole game. Daily events are chaotic, multiplayer series are offset, club events have gone forever... Not to mention how the game fails to close. And apparently it's gonna stay like this while they prepare the big update that who knows when can it come, so yeah, my motivation to play it isn't picking up in the slightest.

My progress in CTR continues as usual. New kart bodies purchased, new skins unlocked as I clear objectives... Slowly but steadily clearing the path ahead. I haven't dedicated any time to that side task, though, we'll see when can I set aside some time and get it over with.

Found a few interesting things for Assetto Corsa since my last post, including a new car that can potentially become my new main for my project. I definitely need to do a face-off between the three candidates, because I could perfectly start writing that project once I decide who will take the spoils. The track mod list has been stable for a decent while and sincerely I doubt I'll make any progress on it anytime soon, which is a shame because I can't get to work some of the ones I truly want to do, but anyway.

Other than these three, I haven't touched anything else. I've been booting up Crash Bash again as a project I want to make and hopefully finish soon before starting with Assetto Corsa, most probably, but it was more for the fun than for trying anything serious. Haven't had the time, drive, motivation or any combination thereof to try anything else, and now that I know there are nearly a handful of games that will come out in the future that I want to get my hands on I'll probably stay away from booting up anything else to save up my time and energy. As such, next update shouldn't be anything special, let's see if the bigger free time I'll have from Monday on can change that before I come back here in August.

Posting a big update that can potentially have an impact in this blog's short-term future.

I uninstalled Asphalt 9 some days ago. The new update they brought was absolute rubbish, which added to the fails of previous updates and all the bugs present since the game's early days. I spent the last days playing it without enjoying it at all, so I decided to ditch it entirely. This game was the only one I had some gradual progress to make and thus the headline of this blog, but it's gone now for good.

I got Yu-Gi-Oh:Master Duel in as a replacement. I didn't transfer my data from PS4 (not sure I could either way) and when the game started I saw a heavily diminished Solo mode. The available portals had a ton of rubbish as well, so I was starting to consider if this game was also changed through its updates and converted into a piece of junk. But luckily, after clearing a few levels, all the portals I knew the game had appeared as blocked. Not sure why they weren't there for starters, but they're there now and I can go through them once more with an updated game and, thanks to the Switch, in a very different way.

Due to today being a national day-off from work, I decided to tackle that side quest in CTR. It ended up not being that much of a deal, because of some information I ignored, so it's now fully cleared as well. All that remains is to earn those coins and spend them in buying the last few remaining kart bodies, but it's no easy task because rewards are scarce.

As for Assetto Corsa, I finally decided to include that new car as the perfect option, which means I'm now fully ready to tackle that project. I've been dedicating some time to it as I wanted to write a bit, but we'll see if I try anything serious with it in this computer or I'll wait until I get a new one in some months time.

That's how things are right now. With no new games in sight for several months, I'm not sure if the monthly updates will continue as a "tradition" or I'll wait until I actually have some news to share. Maybe if I'm actually able to work on guides once again I can also post about them, time will say. For now, this was the last post here for the summer, we'll see what life has in store for the upcoming months.

Yugioh master duel does have cross progression. All you have to do is transfer data and link your account to the game. I did it with my Xbox and mobile phone but it was a little tedious since I didn’t have a Konami account on Xbox and had to jump through some hoops trying to get everything synced. Hopefully it’s easy sailing for you. That’s all I’m gonna say since I just read and not put inputs since it is your gaming blog.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
