It's pretty harsh that this forum didn't receive posts for almost two years. I'm looking to get my hands on a forum, but couldn't afford one. I dream of making a place for Choose Your Own Adventure stories. I've been running one on Gamefaqs for awhile now, they're pretty popular there.

Yeah, we’ve been in the process of changing up this forum for a while, and currently that process seems on hold.

I’m not really sure what you’d have in mind for Choose Your Own Adventure, but really I’ll accept any proposition. It seems like something that could be done in stories/simulation/art or JRPG

Barathemos : Well, I'm just worried it would be considered spam posting elsewhere. Since usually those who reply do so for just one letter.

Here's an example excerpt from my the CYOA I've been running.

"Right, that room seems likely." Robin moved out of Luigi's way.

He clasped the doorknob, turning it, and making an obnoxious creaking noise. The door slowly opened, he peeked his head in.

"Who are you?" said a young blonde girl in a red and white dress, with a green bow in her hair.

Of course Luigi picked the wrong room, when had things ever gone right? Robin pushed the door open. "We apologize, we're looking for a friend. We'll be leaving."

"Wait!" The girl reached out, revealing her tear stained cheeks. "You have to get me out of here."

Luigi and Robin exchanged glances.

"I'm sorry, little girl or not, you're probably in here for a rea-"

"I'm not!" The girl clasped her hands together. "It was Dr. Wily, he locked me in here."

Luigi scratched his nose and turned to leave.

"No please, Dr. Wily is an evil man. He's kidnapped Rock and plans to take over the city."

"Who exactly are you?" Robin pulled Luigi back in.

"I'm Roll, I was built by Dr. Light. And Rock was too. He kicks Wily's butt...usually. But the jailer here attacked him and freed Wily, then they locked me in here. I don't know what they're planning, but, but..." She started crying again.

"Luigi," whispered Robin. "We really don't have time for more conflict if we're gonna be there for Isabelle. What should we do?"

Luigi stared at the crying girl, then looked back out into the corridor.

What should he do?

A. Help Roll.
B. Open the door with the arguing.
C. Open the door with the scratching.
D. Throw a jailhouse party.
E. Call K. Rool.
F. Call Isabelle.
G. Call Robin.
H. Call Hazel.

1. Put Mr. L mask on.

So you basically post back with the letter or number of your choice. Often times, people make comments as well, to influence the vote.

There's a ton of these over there, I thought it would be cool if we could have some running here. You can turn this forum into whatever you like, it's yours after all. I just wanted to make my intentions known about finding a place around here to host those. That, and I really was baffled about how long it's been since a normal post about ships has been made.

I've got my hands full typing up my other story right now regardless, if I did one on here right now, it would update less frequently.

Barathemos : May I just say, that I have only just now figured out that this forum is about shipping people, and not actual ships. It makes far more sense now.
Though maybe if people shipped more fictional people, instead of each other, it would've survived better.
