Okay, I managed to actually get bedrock on my Mac.

I guess I would like to take this opportunity to ask my MC Admin staff job back? The only reason I didn't apply during the staff apps was because I thought I couldn't play bedrock. I'd love it if I could rejoin the group as I loved being an admin on the server

Server keeps crashing because it's getting overloaded? It's too bad that I'm the only one able to manually start it back up.

If anyone knows of any better Bedrock Server Software, let me know. We're currently using PocketMine. It doesn't have to be PHP based either.

I'm wondering if the mob plugin is causing strain on the server. Not sure why else it'd be suddenly crashing a lot, except maybe from the amount of users but the server should be able to handle that just fine. Like I said in my previous post, if there's better software out there, I'll consider switching.

KillerLatias : The server is on Minecraft Bedrock Edition not the java edition.

if that costs money to buy i sadly dont have it

KillerLatias : It doesn't cost money if you're on windows, theres a free upgrade through mojang.

The server crashed again, not sure why. It handled spawning a bunch of different animals fine, but then it crashed after summoning a blaze(?). Not sure what. Seems like that and ghasts overload the server.

I'll look and see if there is any other software to run bedrock on, PocketMine doesn't seem too strong.

Unfortunately, I was wrong. At the moment, unless I'm overlooking something, it doesn't appear that I can add server IPs on the Switch version, and that the only online servers available are the featured ones. It'll be a while yet before I'm able to join.

m0ssb3rg935 : Sadly, as of now, you can only use partnered servers on the switch, thanks Nintendo.

I restarted the server since it crashed not long after I went to sleep last night lol.


SonicOlmstead : I uninstalled PureEntitiesX since that might be causing the strain.

I installed the following for you:

Since there's no enemies, for the time being should we just make this a creative server for building?

I was able to get on to the server from my Xbox One using that. I couldn't get it to work with my Switch but there might be something out there similar for the Switch.

Davideo7 : Thanks for getting those installed, I mean even the survival world wasn't really a survival world after looking into it last night we found out there was no caves so that's weird If your going to make the server creative maybe just make the world we have creative because I know all the others worked hard on the spawn and it looks really nice. (I was looking into plugins for most of the time they were building it) I mean it's not like the world has caves and it may be more interesting then building on a flat world. Edit: so was messing around with the plugins and it seems SimpleNameColor is not set up right or just does nothing lol at least I myself don't see any commands for name colors and something else I noticed was the my plot plugin wants you to create a plot world for plots to be able to be claimed but I can't find any way to claim things normally.

Davideo7 : The server is showing as offline for me I was hoping to test out the new software.

SonicOlmstead : I was able to connect to it just fine. I really wonder why you would be getting that issue. How many times did you try connecting?

I also am unable to connect to the server with the new IP, I’ve tried connecting about 5 times and I keep getting an “unable to connect to server” message, but it doesn’t show the server as offline.

Davideo7 : I've tried connecting over 20 times the past day even now it still keeps showing locating server and a red dot indicating it's offline for me so I have no idea why it's doing that for me

SonicOlmstead : Are you able to attempt connection even while it's showing the red dot? And you're making usre to use this IP 162.241.190.26 ?
