There hasn't been a lot of updates in the past year but that's because I've been working on a big project over the past 6+ months which will go live soon. I've also been working a full time job for the past year or so now so the amount of time I'm able to invest into the site has dropped by a lot.

Like always, I’m going to start out by handing out my awards. This is something that I’ve been doing longer than the actual awards given out by the users. Most of these awards are based on statistics.

Actually he's been donating to the site anonymously for years so I felt that it was about time I give him some recognition for it, even if he doesn't want it. She's been doing a lot for the site for years now but especially in the past year which is so awesome when you consider the overall traffic and activity drop of the site in the past year. In the past year, she has earned well over 25,000 CP, has made the most posts at 1,485 and even won the Tour de Vizzed back in the Spring. This was her year by a long shot!

Wow! This was so unexpected! I didn't even have a speech prepared!

I'm really sad the site is incredibly inactive.

I'm happy that I was remembered at all, even though I've posted like three times in the past year.

I'm happy that I can still enjoy coming by on rare occasions, and remembering what made this place so great.

Anyway, at least I hold the title for most CP; I don't think anyone will surpass me there unless I decide to quit Vizzed (not likely).

Thank you to those who didn't vote for me on the category for the most nicest and best female member. I actually went inactive for that reason I really wanted people to vote for other people instead. I am really happy for yuna who got most nicest congratulations! Also to makayla who got best female congratulations! Happy vizzed anniversary everyone and merry Christmas.  

Wow, kind of surprised I got voted for Best Layout considering it's a very simple one. I don't think I've used another one during the year, and if I did, it was made by me and thus wasn't anything special.

I'm impressed I got voted for Best Staff on one of my most inactive years on the team. Looks like surviving season after season while staying strong within the team is starting to give out results. Not always do we get recognized for our work, so even the smallest details can make us smile.

I'm creeping closer to that top 3 in Wealthiest. Not like it's something I'm pursuing, just that my activity brings me some earnings. Depending how next year turns out, I could also be in the top for Wordiest, I'm not the 13th user with most words all-time for nothing. I wish I was on the top for CP, even the 17k I've earned in the last year won't be enough to get there soon, at most top 5 in the overall standings. 

It's sad to see the site so inactive, but not everything stays in top shape forever. The upcoming changes could help tilting the scale back to our favor again, so let's keep our head up and hope for a promising 2018. I'll make sure to be here, after all I won't miss out the year I'll become a veteran, so let's keep it going!

I could be known for anything else but I guess I'll always be known as the King of game guides. I'm not even surprised anymore.

Although, I ask myself a question: do I really stand for that name? Do I deserve to be called like that even now?

Thank you to those that voted for me. I've been super inactive in the forums since that was my permanent (yet unannounced) decision, but I'm really active in the RGR so I see why I got a vote for Insomniac Award.

It was saddening going through the votes, seeing less than a full page of people voting. I haven't been active much myself either, partly because I forgot about the site again, partly because I've been burnt out on retro games so I don't even hang in the RGR anymore. Maybe in 2018, if the position opens up again, I might try to get my job of video creating back again (though we need to fix that recording bit in the plug-in).

EX Palen : I voted you for best layout because it's very simple. I don't really like distracting pictures and your color scheme is easy on the eyes. The slightly larger font is also good.

I'm actually surprised that I got 2nd in most controversial again. Even if it was a tie with just 1 vote, I haven't been very active ( that is, until this current Tour de Vizzed ). I'm kind of ashamed, shocked, surprised, and proud all at the same time. And I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Thanks? I think?
