About
In 1999 I opened an 'Exotic Hardwood Flooring Installation, Re-Finishing/Repair, and Manufacturing' company. Since then we have gone from a single shop space, 5 employees (including myself), and 2 vans, to where we are today. We have 4 showrooms displaying our available exotic flooring stock and showcasing our custom built furniture. We currently operate with 27 employees (including installers), 7 vans, and a full-service milling center. We also offer 'Wood-All', a service that allows customers to have any item, no matter what meterial it is made of, reproduced in any species of wood they desire.
Several years ago, I took a pay cut when I appointed a GM (General Manager). This opened the door for continued stability without my everyday presence.
The newly found free time allowed me to take a full time job @ ORNL (Oak Ridge National Laboratories), where I have been for the past 6 years.
I grew up in a relatively poor neighborhood and a lower-middle class family in the 80's and early-mid 90's.
My favorite gaming console manufacturer was/is Nintendo and, at one point or another, I owned the Atari, Commodore 64, NES, SNES, NES64, NES' Gamecube, PS1, PS2, PS3, & XBOX.
My friends and myself, because we were all pretty much poor, had to be creative and make a plan. Each of us would get a different gaming system for Birthday or Christmas. This allowed us to have access to Sega Genesis, NES, Neo Geo, and later, the PS1, etc.
We would plans leep overs a few days in advance and get pumped up about playing a different console.
I had forgotten about so many of those memories, until I found 'Vizzed'! These days I don't have a lot of time to play, but when I do, I'm instantly transported to when I was a kid.
I'm not sure there is another site on the net that has the nostalgia 'Vizzed' offers, Thanks Vizzed! -

P.S. Apologies if this Bio seems overly descr ipt. I always try to articulate everything I write to the best of my abilities. It's a habit I've had since I failed part of my sophomore English class in high-school for being too generic/vague in my descr iptive writing...
