let's review pokemon skyline beta 2 Blackfoxy14
Let's review skyline two..just a quick thing. ?I haven't play though the whole game, but 3 badges. So if it gets better later on or not. I do not know. This is just more of a first impression. just my thoughts on it, and reason of rating it as so.
Graphics: Pokemon and trainer sprite wise is pretty must the same..but I kinda rate this higher cause of new map making that seems very fitting for a Pokemon game. Well..almost completely. ?I love it when a Pokemon game actually chance around the map design to give us a new expressions, and espilley ones that seem perfectly fitted in Pokemon game. However, some design chooses seem to question me. Like for one why is in the first town in middle of it is divided with grass? And some towns seem really too small. So not a perfect 10, but it is really nice.
Sound: Oh I really really love the music, I am no expect..but i really like the music chooses, and i think it fits well at the moment, or area.
Addictiveness: like all Pokemon games, it is very addicting. They have some good Pokemon wondering around, and boss Pokemon. Great to grind as well as caught as your own Pokemon. As far as I seen, they are usually pretty good. Both the starters are pretty nice. Being either an Eevee that depending on genders be an Umberon, or Espeon. (genders effect what eevee evolve into.) or an fire starter Cyndrquill(for girls at least.). Also the trainers are very good for helping on grinding. For those of you think they are not, you have to meat your father in the game. being the 3rd town, then go back and talk them and they battle you. The re battling them is also good..but..here's the downsides. After you get your first or 2nd badge..you began the areas you go seems pretty..well..plain. The Pokemon are annoying, and if you like me. That goes as far as you can go, so you battle every trainer get exp. There's lack of feel of new Pokemon. it feels like same over, and feel less of
selection. Like..you want a fire or electric Pokemon? Sorry nope.?Don't get me wrong, there are good ones..but you want to choose yourself. That adds on the fact that you really don't have to chose your starter also seem to lack character. I love Eevee, but the fact you can't evolve him in his other evolution..just doesn't fit everyone's preferences. You can't pick you preferences..including the other starter. I feel it is very must a shame that it seems so must promising at the start that get me really into it..then loses me. I got bored after 3rd badge..twice. Story also seems to remove after you reach 3rd city as well..though read below. I feel it had lot of offer, but end up disappointing.
Story: Now..the story..the start of it, oh boy. The start of it is what really make me look at it, and think it is going to be a great game. An trainer that is going to another region, but do to a big storm, end up wash up on the beach. The silence music, and the fact all alone but an Eevee really caught your attendance. You then get greeted friendly neighborhood mom want-a-be, and she actually okay personality. As story goes on, it keep you interesting. The characters don't seem that boring in most Pokemon games. You just want more...then the story drops dead right after the 3rd city. Just not enough after the 3rd city to keep you wanting to play..at least for me.
Depth: Why Pokemon low depth? Well..there's just not that must to do, as well as not must
selection as most Pokemon game does. You find yourself repeating yourself, gym battle, fighting trainers, gym battle, fighting gym..nothing to add on to keep you wanting to play, no new Pokemon, or story..it gets really boring.
Difficulty: You have a lot of Pokemon to grind on, as well good ones to get..but..if you not informed, it can make the game harder, the fact the boss Pokemon can actually be too strong for your Pokemon.
