I've had my temps since January, but only for the past week have I experienced the nightmare that is maneuverability. I can't even get the word right, so Google had to fix it for me. I'm trying to be a very good driver, even the kind who lets another person out of a driveway into the road. But I really realized lately that I don't like it.

It's sort of fun when I'm doing it really well, and I have less to worry about, but other than those rare situations, I dread it more than anything in the world. Even getting a shot yesterday was easier. It took 15 seconds while driving usually takes 2 long hours. And I get so frustrated with it that I feel like I need a break, so I fall away from it for a couple days. I had a valid excuse last week because I was sick with a cold, but other times I feel awful for feeling that way.

But if there's one thing I've learned through this, it's that it's perfectly OK to feel those emotions like anger, frustration, and sadness. It isn't OK for me to let it control me. Today, that's exactly what happened. I did maneuverability with my mom, and since her car is an SUV, instead of the regular car I drove with my instructor, it seemed near impossible not to hit a cone. I hit so many I lost count. I kept getting more confused as I go along and it confuses me so much that I get a headache from it.

As for driving on roads, even though it isn't my cup of fruit punch, I'm OK with it. Quick decision making is getting better for me and I'm able to stay in the center of my lane and maintain speed nicely.

The next thing I wanted to mention in my post is my activity. I've still been pretty active most of the time I have to be active is at night. The day has consisted of being trapped in a car driving and doing things with family. And now I'm trying to gain motivation to be out of the house more with friends too even though it's busier and they're busier.

Despite the school year likely being more demanding with AP Psychology, I think I'll still be pretty active. However, I want to limit how much I'm online each day. I need to use my Wii U more, spend more time studying, and talk to my friends, especially if they need help with their homework. This site has proven important to me in the past 4-and-a-half years, and not only am I posting regularly, I'm also beginning to TAS regularly which requires a couple hours on the site at a time.

Senior year, here I come! I get my schedule for my classes tomorrow

Yeah driving is terrifying, which is why I decided not to. It will save me a lot of money on gas and maintenance while also helping me get more exercise. Also it's nice your trying to spend more time with friends, as well as working on school and homework and stuff. I do wish you luck and hope you do very well at it.

Boured: Yeah, I'd be driving a lot less if I had any stores or friends' houses really close to my house. I could walk to some places, including school, but it would be a long walk.

Thank you! If I keep doing well with schoolwork, I can save an amazing amount of money on my college tuition, which I need because I have never had a job yet. And why is that? Because of
driving! XD

I also tried driving and even had fun with it, but it looks like it was just the hype for a new experience what allowed me to enjoy such time.

After some surgery I had back in time, coupled with other complications that appeared after it, I'm unable to remain seated for a long amount of time, sometimes not even 15 minutes. I thought that being on the wheel could affect positively on this and it initially seemed so, but ultimately it was just a hype that has gone down over the months and now I struggle to drive further than I'm willing to walk.

Besides that, I have no real use for it. Our city has a very good net of public transport and my home is quite close to several lines of bus and underground, so it's not hard for me to move around. I just wanted to save time, distance and also be helpful to my friends, since they live quite close between them but far away from where I live.

I don't discard driving forever more, but at least until I have a real purpose for it that could justify investing time and resources on it. I do encourage people to at least try it, after all you'll never know until you actually do it. The first day, my instructor told me he would manage the pedals and I'd get the wheel, and I was terrified. However, I eventually got very good and overcame this fear, all because I had to try it at least once.

Changing from a normal car to a SUV is a big change. Size, power-to-weight, turning... Every car has its own mastery, and getting used to it isn't easy. You'll eventually do fine, but it won't be an easy step and even more if you're still not done with your driving lessons.

EX Palen : I don't think I'd drive if I didn't have a ton of use for it either. But I don't live in a city with a lot of public transportation, so my family drives everywhere, which now means I drive most places.
