This is a short poem I made last night. I didn't try to make it really good, but I hope the emotion behind it is relatable.

Why am I so afraid?
Is it that I am uncertain
if the curtain
is open,
giving light and might
to my lack of strength
and hopin’?

Why am I so afraid?
Is it that I don’t trust
that this is a must
in order to give back to others?

Why am I so afraid?
is it that I have a hard time
believing that this journey of mine
is worth all the stress?

I’m not sure what it is
My ideas are no more
But what I realize now is
nobody’s keeping score

If I fail my mission
and I end up doing poor
I will still listen
for the opening of another door
