I'm so disappointed. Everything Fire Emblem has stood for has been defiled.
Not only are they making a mistake by working on multiple titles at once (not putting full focus into one really good game) but it's also pandering to weeaboos just like Fates was.

I will NOT be getting any of these games. What are your thoughts? Do you like this sort of thing or are you just as upset as I am?

yoshirulez! : I know I never played the game but....this is silly I've seen how the old games were, and this I can see why you are pretty much disappointed in it I mean I am too. Most games are getting a good raise of attention and it seems this game didn't. The worst thing I hate is when a game I have come to love playing, and a remaster or a remake is being made. They would release it showing they have been cutting corners that's what they did for this game. :/

Could you elaborate on what you mean by Fire Emblem Fates panders to weeaboos? Fire Emblem has always had an anime-style feel and look to it in my opinion. Also this:

These are the scores for Fire Emblem Fates.

I may get these games, but I'm not sure yet.

dunno why that's strikethrough'd.

Lexatom : Yes, Fire Emblem has always had an anime style, but the thing is with Fates they amped it up and threw in many many themes that common weeaboos love, like purposefully having Waifus and even a petting minigame where you can feel your waifu up to make them perform better.

It was very sexual. Unnecessarily sexual. If you play any FE before Fates, you won't find anything as trashy as that.

Yes, it did well. But that's not to say it's as good as older FE games. Many people who aren't weeaboos will directly state that it was a disappointing entry in the series. Even youtube channels dedicated to fire emblem mock Fates for being trashy.

Yeah, Nintendo's been getting a little creepy lately. What with all the sexual stuff and the fact that they're trying to open up more to little kids (Freaking Phoenix mode), one tends to worry.
However, that doesn't mean the franchise is dead.
Warriors...eh. That's not gonna get too much attention, I think. Seeing as how it's both on a new platform with other titles in line, and the fact that it's already been done with the Zelda series... That fact is, you'd have to know the characters beforehand in order to truly appreciate this game. But most people who play Fire Emblem in the first place play it for the tactics, which are sadly lacking in this one. Alienate the newcomers, anger the fans.
Echoes. That one is gonna go places. Selling as a new game while being a remake is always a good strategy. Not exactly creative genius, but it'll probably work if they don't change too much in terms of story. Should draw back those who played Gaiden, those who played later titles, and people who are just starting out.
But HEROES...
AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH THEYHAVELYNTHEYHAVELYNTHEYHAVELYNNNNN-
Ahem.
This one is pure nostalgia. The summoning system is nothing special, been done millions of times. But the fact that it showcases all our favorite characters again... ahhhhh... The system was done in Awakening, and turned out rather well.
Oh, it's free, too. No Mario stupidity over here! I'm a little worried about how non-Fire Emblem players will take it, seeing as how it kinda goes into the Warriors section of needing to know the characters already to fully enjoy... but at least it has the whole strategy element intact.
Overall, these games... well, not Warriors, but the Echoes and Heroes will probably be worth the wait. Bringing back old faces while staying true to the strategy and tactics we all know and love will have a huge impact on the fanbase. Again, kinda bummed out about some things Nintendo's been up to. But even throughout all of that, Fire Emblem is, for now, still Fire Emblem.

So my short recap...They still showed nothing for FE Warriors. I think it'll be like Hyrule Warriors, and just be endless repetition of the same really good combo, but the fanservice will keep it alive and worth playing far longer than you would had it not be a Fire Emblem/Zelda game.

Fire Emblem on the Switch...WOW LOOK NOTHING! I hope they have something to show come E3.

The smartphone game looks...eh? Not the WORST thing ever. I would play it. But there is no petting. Come on!!!!

The Fire Emblem Gaiden remake...NO PETTING?! WHY NINTENDO?! ;~;

Actually it looks more like the direction the games should actually be going in. No petting, less blatent waifubait, more actual solid gameplay. And if there isn't a Phoenix mode, and they keep Treehouse at least 6,000 miles away from the game, we may actually have a great game on our hands!

I wonder what the character limit on this thing is.

I am fine with the addition of phoenix and casual mode from awakening and fates.(if it didn't have it I doubt awakening would have done as well as it did and that would have been the end of fire emblem). It brings in new audiences that wouldn't have played it before. Besides there is always gonna be classic mode available so I don't see how it is a big deal. The waifu baiting is probably gonna be in the Gaiden remake just not as much as fates I hope. This is the direction fire emblem should go.

Got nothing to say about Warriors other than thats a cool move. New switch game which I can only hope will be good but got nothing to say other than that. Heroes could do well but I have been seeing fans mainly make fun of Iphone users on social media rather than speaking about the game itself. I personally don't play on my phone often so I doubt I will get it. I am excited for the Gaiden remake as it brings in elements from traditional rpg's as well as the fire emblem gameplay. Nintendo is gonna kill my wallet by the end of the year.

Gotta admit, I didn't watch the video.

However, is the term "weaboo" necessary at all? It's derogatory, and therefore not really cool. No offense. I doubt you mean to offend anyone.
That said, petting is creepy, but actually fairly common in Japanese games, including those that don't get ported outside of Japan, so it's more likely meant to appeal to Japanese adult men rather than wannabe Japanese. Same goes for the art and all that. Remember this is not a Western game designed for Westerners, it's the same thing any Nintendo game is: a Japanese game made for Japanese people and then ported to the rest of the world. This much is evident by the claiming that Twilight Princess was made to cater to the Western crowd, or in other words, the series outside of that one game is Eastern, or more specifically, Japanese.

But yeah...any game with a focus on being sexy and involving petting is creepy and garbage imo. If that's the route the series goes...it's sad. This is such a beloved franchise. :/

Needs more waifus. Never enough waifus. Hell, why not just give us Fire Emblem: Waifu Quest which is basically a 18+ game as that's what all the real fans want.

I'm actually hyped for the games, except for the mobile one, because it's not my thing. As long as we get quality in the end, it's all cool with me.

As for the petting, I'm indifferent because if that's what some people want, I don't see the harm. Just don't make it a requirement. Just as weird as petting Pokemon and having them be fine with getting their privates touched tbh.

Dark knight of the blackened sun. I am Sword Legion, one of many. My mask is thick, and my armor is strong. All the more necessary in a world such as this. . .
