It's transitioning from summer to fall where I live now and the days are getting a little shorter, the nights a little cooler, the afternoons a little less scorching hot.

My favorite weather is the light rain that clouds up the afternoon skies in September. It is warm enough to sit in the garage with the door open and enjoy the sounds of the rain thrumming on the roof and off the cars and in the trees. Cars swaaaash by on the roads and I'm drinking a beer with my dog in her warm bed. It's pleasant, quiet, and I have my thoughts to myself.

I actually have two favorites. One would have to be overcast autumn evenings when there's not as much noise and chatter from the frogs, crickets and cicadas and there's that slightly cool, damp breeze that carries the scent of burning firewood and all the colors of the leaves change. The other, a January afternoon with light, if any wind and heavy snowfall. No one's out and about, nothings rustling or moving, it's like time's stopped for a second. It's also really cool how the bluejays and cardinals contrast against the background of white and grey.

For me would either be...summer or winter when snow comes out. But sadly where I live we don't get much snow. So its like pure cold you jut get if its cold enough then it would be able to snow. I like the summer since even though being able to handle such heat it also helps me to go to sleep in many odd ways. Don't ask since I am not so sure how to explain it myself. XD

Hmmmmmm, I guess I would have to have go with an overcast fall day. I love overcast weather in general, but the temperatures of (early) fall, which is basically in the 60s or 70s, makes it that much better. I don't know why but I just love cloudy weather and I prefer it to not be too bright outside. Some honorable mentions include summer rains and cold, rainy days. I love summer rains because the temperature goes up and down. It's really warm one minute and then the next minute it's kind of cool. It's also pretty cool to see the steam on roads and stuff (if it was really hot) Cold rainy days are also great. It gives you a reason to stay inside the warmth of your house and it has a kind of quaint, cozy feeling. They're pretty great times to watch a good horror movie or something like that.

Either spring or autumn. The weather is just right,maybe bring a hoodie with you. I hate sweating my butt off in summer,I hate snow in winter,although I am okay with cold. I don`t like sunny weather, so my favorite is cloudy skies with lite rain, as described in first post, when you can wear baseball cap and tight jacket and go outside not bothering about umbrella.
But most of all I love to sit by the window with cup of coffee and watch falling snow flakes during heavy snowfall, that`s where the real pleasure is. Sadly it`s a rare sight last years.

I'd have to say I like when it rains in the spring or summer. But my favorite season is fall because the leaves look beautiful and of course Halloween is in the fall and that's my favorite holiday! Lol. But yeah. Definitely rain after it has been so hot. The grass here can use it anyway, it has been a while since it rained and it's kind of depressing :/

And If I'm still hot and sweaty, I go outside and get wet.




The only catch to the rainy summer day is the fact that the power goes out about 75% of the time.
Rainy days are my favorite and also my most hated, it's kind of complicated.
