Hi guys I had another great idea for a thread. Now I know some or most of you know I read anime fanfictions. I only do this if I don't get the type of good anime ending I wanted from an anime I started watching from beginning till the end. I find the shipping I want read that fanfiction and get the ending I want that way I can be a lot more happier. Anyways do you guys read any anime fanfictions besides from watching the anime? If so then why do you read them? For enjoyment? Or to do what I do and look for the right ending that came out badly for the anime you were watching? I would love to know if you read them or not.

No, I do not read anime fanfictions, or any fanfictions of any kind for that matter. I may be a fanboy of some things, but not so much as to read or make fanfics of series. I prefer canon material.

Lexatom : That I can understand. I actually read fanfictions of cannon material. Like for instance Lucy and nastu from fairy tail. I just simply adore them both! Well *clears throat* anyways yes I would read the right cannons of shipping. I just explained if the anime didn't give off the right ending for those shipping cannons is when I would go and read fanfictions until I stumble or come across the right story for it. And have the proper ending the anime should had made in the first place. I hope I better explain that now.

I am always reading fan fics of Persona 4. Sure, I guess it would be more so fan fics of the game, but I love the anime so much more. The thing is, persoa 4 has such an amazing story, and there's all sorts of people out there who come up with other stories and ideas for the series that are just as amazing and could even be used as canon material, most of the stuff that I find is spot on, works really well with the original humor, and is very well made, so that's why I love ONLY fan fics of this anime.

No I mean, like, I don't read any fan fictions at all. I prefer to watch the actual anime, and even if it has a bad ending, I just take it as it is. I don't know if it's just me being weird or not, heh.

zanderlex : Oh wow that sounds wonderful. You know I'll try out watching the anime. And see for myself if I like it or not. I hope that I do I've heard its really good to watch. And yeah that's the best thing about fanfictions people coming up like better ideas and making it a lot more amazing. Its the one thing I am inspired about fanfictions and how people do things as well.
 
Lexatom : Ah...nah your not being weird its very much different for everyone. People have their own perspective of those things and you have yours so its pretty understandable. ^-^

I love reading fanfics, but to let you know, when it comes to anime fanfiction, I only read reader inserts. Yeah, I'm that strange person who reads stories where I can insert myself in it. 

Besides those kind of anime fanfics, I don't read anime fanfics often. Instead, I read vocaloid fanfics, Harvest Moon fanfics, and sometimes, Super Smash Bros fanfics. I love reading the creativity people come up with and put it into writing stories. Even I write fanfics for fun too~ It's fun~

Yuna1000 : Wow that's some long post.....where to start. I didn't know you were into a lot of fanfictions I did know you liked some, but wasn't sure of how many. Now this clears things up for me to answer my questions to do with that. I did the same as you did used to read a lot of fanfictions back in the day. I mostly read them because when I watched an anime they didn't give the right ending cannon for it so I would often get angry about it, and read a fanfiction that does which would make me feel satisfied afterwards when finish reading it. I also got into the fact I would make my own fanftcions as you saw before. I still have yet to finish the digimon one. As a matter of fact  am working on it so when I finish the chapters I can finally end it and not make anymore fanfictions.

AriaAngelDream : That's fine it different for everyone lol. Not everybody will do the same I had a feeling you wouldn't really get into the anime, but others such as vocaloid etc. Yeah that's the main reason I read them the creativity, that it has which makes it a lot more enjoyable to read.   ^-^

I think the last time I read a fan-fiction I was maybe 10 or 11 years old lol. It was for the show Zoids: New Century. I loved the show to no end as a kid, and it was interesting to hear some of the stories people would write about it. Some of them were awful, but the gems made spending the time reading them worth it.

Mynamescox44 : Not all fanfictions would be great to read. You have to find the good ones that's what I do. Plus I haven't really heard of that anime before I think I might I dunno though. Anyways its always good to go through like reading ones you would tend to read over again. That's one of the main reason I read fanfictions to see how the story makers become creative towards it.

I don't often read fanfictions, but I do sometimes look for some good Harvest Moon fanfictions. The only problem is that I only care about the ones based in the Back To Nature and Friends of Mineral Town/More Friends of Mineral Town world. That cast easily had more character than any other I've found in a Harvest Moon game (or most any game) and I've just grown attached to them and love hearing other people dream up scenarios for them. I can enjoy HM64 fanfictions since they use the same cast mostly, but BTN and FoMT/MFoMT are the best for fanfictions I think.

We need some HM fanfiction on here...

Eirinn : That's understandable. I mean not everyone would read anime ones, and I sensed you may have to read something to do with harvest moon. As said before you simply love that game to bits you really do and it shows. Anything to do with the game you have already done it. I may play the game. Since I told you I played like farmville 2 on facebook? I might be able to play the game if its similar to that I dunno. As for the harvest moon fanfiction I think you should work on one since you know the in depth of the game more.

Eniitan - Maybe I will... I've thought about it but I don't tend to do that kind of thing. It would be interesting to see how it would turn out though. And yeah I would have enough knowledge of the characters and settings to make one if I tried. In fact I made one sort of as a young teen once. Never shared it with anyone though. I recorded myself telling it instead of actually writing it. No idea what happened to the recordings though.

If you're curious, it was about "Jack" and Popuri, and by extension Popuri's whole family plus Kai. :3 And the idea of Farmville seems to be based off of Harvest Moon, but the gameplay and everything is quite different. If you like calm games and games with relationship systems then you should enjoy it a lot. If you play it I recommend Back To Nature.

Eirinn : I know you can do it if you try! And ooh....that sound pretty cool! See you worked on your own character for that. I'm sure it would had turned out well if you would had kept going on with the plan. What made you to stop in the first place? And I see....its that different? I may need to look into the gameplay first to see properly. So I can make a proper decision if I want to play the game or not. And I'll also check out back to nature as well.
