There is this pretty girl I used to talk to in my French 1 class let's name her Connie. We used to sit next to each other and talk  when we had the chance every day. And every time I would start a conversation she always had a sparkle in her eye she would laugh at my jokes and when I ask her for gum she never said no. But of course all good things must come to a end am I right? My French teacher decided to change our seating chart and now she sits far away from me. The other day I was going walk to her desk and talk to her but I don't think her female friend likes me. Every time I go by her desk her Friend gives me this mean look and its getting me off guard and I sit back down this has been going on for weeks now . Should I go for it and talk to Connie right in front of her Friend or should I just wait till her friend leaves?
P.S. Let me know if I put any spelling errors and I also didn't mean to put this under game discussion sorry
p.S.S My school is going to end next month on the 3rd I should probably hurry but I don't really wanna rush things I also see her after school but I still don't talk to her. What A train wreck huh. Also thank you to all who post to this thread it really helps a lot thanks you

fangsonic : Let me tell you a little something that will help you in life kid, do not give a crud about what people look at you like if you did nothing to deserve that look. If I were you I would go in front of her and talk to her, and not care what the friend says as she isn't her parent so this Connie you say can make her own decision. By the way you put it you like the girl as more than just a friend, so if you want some advice it would be to be confident and talk to her despite her friends look of dislike. So to put it shortly, yes you should go for it and who cares if she sees and doesn't like it, she can deal with it if Connie likes you.

P.S. I would edit that post layout so it's a lot more readable, white text on a white background isn't really going to be very effective in showing the text :p

I'm betting the white text on the white background will keep most people away from trying to read what you said.

Yes, you should go for it.  Your whole life should be trying to 'go for it.'

Pull the trigger,as it were. It does not matter what her friend thinks. If you like this girl, then tell her you like her and to hell with her friend. You will always have someone giving you a dirty look and you have to ignore them.

Awww, you should definitely go for it. I'm learning to let go of my regrets, but rather take them as lessons for how to 'seize the moment' in the future. One regret I used to have was not just "going for it" in a similar situation to yours.

About her friend, one thing I'd like to point out is:
a) It's possible she might have what's known as "resting mean face" (meaning that's just her face. It exists lol google it)
b) She's in a foul mood and may not have realized she was giving you a mean look
c) Even if it's one of the 2 things above, it really doesn't matter. Not everyone will like you, but as you get older *most* people realize you can not like someone and be civil. Be nice to her friend, and be the bigger person.

In addition to what plasticinsanity said, if we were to truly cover all the bases I'd say there's another option that's actually in your favor: Perhaps her friend was disappointed in you for not continuing to talk to Connie despite the new seating arrangement. To reiterate the majority's opinion, I'd say should "go for it."

I recall a similar circumstance back in PreCalc in high school (with the seating change, not the friend being in the way), but I just simply stopped talking to the girl and with the declined social media requests essentially never talked to her again. I knew that girl since the 5th grade so it's a bit disappointing that we took a 180 in our communication habits ( though to be fair we never really spoke often before that class anyway).

Final note: Though there are also a couple grammatical things that could be fixed, if we're talking spelling errors alone then all I spotted at first glance was the "are seating", which should be changed to "our seating."

fangsonic : Just go for it.

If you never ask you will never find out basically.

At the end of the day the worst case scenario would be that she declines... The last thing you need is for Connie to simply reply with something along the lines of "If you have asked earlier, I would have said yes, but I got over you" etc.

As for spelling errors, Just use the spell check. Then you will just be stuck with grammatical errors, and honestly as long as others can understand what you are saying/typing then I doubt it will be much of an issue.
