Good afternoon, all.

It has come to the attention of the MC Server Admin Team that there is an area, south of the main islands in Vizzed Ville (the main world), which will cause the server to crash if entered. It's not a large area, but if you enter it, you will not be able to access the server until the issue is resolved. For the time being, please stay well away of the coords X: 600 Y: 4 Z: 2376. Based on our estimates, we should have the problem solved within 36 hours, but please wait for a post from one of the Admins in this thread before continuing to explore south of the Vizzed Ville islands.

I'm curious.

Why on earth does it cause a crash? Is it just a super busy area, with a lot of stuff the server can't load at once?

Or is it a bug within Minecraft itself?

The fact you think it can be fixed so easily makes me think it has to be the former, since you could always brute force delete things, it would just take time.

Someone accidentally moved a super large area (think 500.000+ blocks) all at once using WorldEdit, including a ton of lava blocks (probably the most laggiest block you can get). That was a bit too hard to load all at once so anyone who loads those chunks will crash the server and get stuck until it's done moving.

geeogree : I've tried using the 2nd quickest redstone clock to repeat a TP command as fast as possible to try to get me out of there, but it failed to work. To my knowledge, the only way to get out of there is deleting your user file, which is more of an inconvenience rather than anything else.

As an update, I'm noticing HUGE improvements in the build. I was on the server for a good 5 or 6 seconds, which is like 5 times as long as usual.

Simply log onto the server, and I've set up a machine that should theoretically TP you out. I've just freed my theofficialmrfe account, so I know it works. I'll have minecraft open for much of tonight, so just let me know when you want to try it.

After all three of you are freed, I'll log back on and revisit Dark's site, in hopes that it's finish rendering.

It's actually getting worse for me. I used to be able and move for like 4 seconds before the server crashed, but now I'm barely even able to spot the grass before the server crashes.

Furret : he was able to get me out last night. It seems like a whole lot of the same thing but after logging in and out a couple of times you get TP'd to Vizzed Ville. Once there you get stuck until he turns the teleport off (because of how quickly it is teleporting you) but it does work.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
