Most of us have to do a lot of chores in our house, whether we live with our parents or not. Which chore do you dread the most?

I have several weekly chores I have to do, and so does my sister. We both have the exact same chores. The chore I dread the most is cleaning the toilet and the sink in one of the bathrooms. It's the most tedious chore I have to do so far.

I'm really lucky that my parents don't make me do the laundry yet (but they plan on doing that soon), and if I did have to that would be the chore I dread the most, the most tedious chore I do.

The one I dread the most is doing the laundry but that's only because of walking the 10 blocks to the laundry mat to do it, once I get there, I have some snacks and surd the web but I dread having to go out to do this, especially every week.

Every chore. I'm not kidding. I'd rather slack off :v.

On a serious note, I hate cleaning the toilet. The sink, bathtub, and mirrors are fine, but the toilet... I hate it ;w;.

zanderlex : Walking 10 blocks is good exercise and that would be fun for me at first but it would get old fast. I think many people can relate to dreading having to walk that far to get something important done.

ZeroTails : Yeah, cleaning the rest of the bathroom isn't as bad as cleaning a toilet.

PacmanandMariofan : Ugh... I always dreaded doing the dinners. It was truly a full-on nightmare. But my mom was the only one taking care of us. So I had to help out around the house often.

hmm.... Probably vacuuming. I dread it not for the fact some may call it tedious but becuase it always leaves me with a sore lower back. This is also precisely the reason why my parents make me do it now, vacuuming the house practically cripples them for the rest of the night. Other things like laundry or tidying up the house don't bother me much: I like clean clothes and hate a messy house... Organized chaos is one thing, messy is another.

PacmanandMariofan : The chores I dread the most come between vacuuming the house and cleaning bathrooms. Luckily I can clean my bathroom with my brother, so it isn't that bad, but I vacuum all by myself most of the time. I have two vacuums that are medium size and one you can easily hold, but the other one is heavy, so somebody helps me with that vacuum, but mostly I vacuum with the easy-to-hold vacuum and just like Chindogu I get achy back. I loathe these chores not only because they are time-consuming, but also because they release dust and smells into you nose that doesn't make you feel good afterwards, but the chore I hate the most is probably vacuuming the house because you always have to bend to reach the floor. 

Final Weapon : I've never enjoyed that much either.

Chindogu : I have to vacuum my room once a week. It's not that bad since I don't have to vacuum the rest of the house. My parents sometimes make that my sister's job XD

Hovering the house. I can't do it since it takes a lot of energy to do. The bins come in second place. But who is to do it at home? No one but me that is...so I have come to the point of getting used to it. There are other chores I don't like, but these ones are m top 2. >.>

I have quite a few chores I have to do every other weekend, but I guess I'd have to say the one I dread the most is mowing the lawn. It is a pain to do during the summer because it takes forever to do the front lawn, and it is always hot out. Not a good feeling. The back lawn is a lot worse though, it takes over an hour and a half to do depending on how bad it is. 

I also hate cleaning the bathroom. I don't know how janitors and custodians clean toilets, but kudos to you because it is disgusting. Honestly, I would gladly swap cleaning the toilet for doing laundry (setting up a load and washing it). I don't have it as a chore yet, but it isn't that hard to do, and it is usually finished pretty quickly. Overall though, lawn mowing is still the worst since it is the most time consuming. I'm glad I don't have a huge front yard though.

I really hate mowing the lawn and dusting. Mowing just takes forever to do, and it's usually really hot outside. So I just really hate it. That and when there's any major reorganizing going on. It's just nightmarish to move so many things, just to put them back in a second later.

Razor-987 : I don't enjoy mowing the lawn either. When it's hot and humid outside I finish the job exhausted, sweating like crazy, and smelling like armpits and grass (I wear deodorant daily but when I mow the lawn I sweat it off...)

Yeah, cleaning the toilet is pretty gross.

halinorxkadma : Wow, that sounds like a tough job. The dogs barking would make it so much harder! I'm guessing you live near a farm. Either way, it's cool that you are taking care of all those animals and birds

Near a farm? I live on the farm. And yeah it can be pretty tough...what pisses me off about the chore the most though is that my brother is supposed to help me take care of the horses, or at least be outside in case something happens, and he doesn't even bother pretending to do anything! My parents even let him get away with it and just tell me to 'suck it up and get the work done no matter whose chore it is.

halinorxkadma : You live in a farm? Cool! I love animals but I can see why you dislike your chores...I wouldn't mind if I could get a chance to look after animals. Since I like animals a lot.
