Face it!, we all know if the battles between Mario vs Koopa and Link vs Ganondorf were all about brawn and regular strength (not including they're powers or super human strength). Mario and Link would get POUNDED!, due to they're puny stature compared to Koopa's and Ganondorf's.
So what if they just happen to lose they're powers and end up facing eachother once again?

Who do you think has a greater survival chance?
Mario or Link?
Will they use knowledge from they're past journey to help them think of ways?
Or will they go out like men and dook it out?

Link

Is known for his courage, seriously he pretty much isn't scared of anything, even as a child he goes out into Hyrule and even back in time facing various monsters and beasts. Going into dungeons and dark caves. The holder of the triforce of "Courage", advantage? He's is also know as "Hero of Time", and "Hero of Winds".

Mario

Is famous for him jumping abilities, fireballs, and other powers. Which is why his name was originally "Jumpman". He as well goes into caves and such, fighting against enemies and traveling to different lands, islands, even the galaxy! He's also recognized for his bravery. Which brings him to always save Princess Peach.

King Koopa

A badass and a leader of a variety of minions like the his right hand man Kamek, Koopa Troopas, Goombas, Hammer Bros., Bullet Bill, much more. He is very big in size and has a pretty short temper. But mostly recognized for being Mario nemesis.

Ganondorf

Is the embodiment of evil. Ganondorf is also large in size and has a mind set to rule all lands. He is a powerful sorcerer, and can transform into a giant beast. He is also the holder of the triforce of "Power" which gives him a boost when it come to his strength. Also known for being Link nemesis.

Of these four, with no powers, Bowser would win. No powers means=

Mario is just a normal fat guy, so he wouldn't stand a chance.
Ganondorf is physically strong, but,
Likn has a weapon- his sword.
But Bowser is huge, and can take a beating before going down.

Have you played the other games like supermario 3 and paper mario and other ones where he caqn shoot fire balls, become a flying raccon, hold a might hammer, also lets not forget the star power which can maybe slimly match the tri-force, and finally mario is just your normal italian what esle can you ask for.
Link i'll give him props on his abilities such as when he had the mask in major masks, and the poer of the tri-force and sword and such. Well thats my opinion I just think Mario is the winner in the poll.

No, I haven't played them, but i'm saying if their powers are GONE, as in nothing to help them. Sorry if I insulted Mario in any way.

yea, link would have a better chance. more versatility and maneuverability, plus he has a sword. all mario can do is jump on people : in mario 64 he could punch and throw things, but thats about it. dunno about anything newer, havent played any nintendo games above the 64, so i wouldnt really know.. im still voting for link

No the Master Sword wouldn't do Link any good since they're powers of disabled.

It's hand to hand combat.

you didnt say anything about him not having a sword. link always has a sword, just bc it doesnt have any powers doesnt mean he shouldnt have a sword. you shouldnt have posted a pic with him holding a sword if he wasnt allowed to have it

Plus if Link would get close enough to Ganondorf and try to stab him Ganondorf can easily grab him with his long arms and break his neck. So the sword is useless. Same goes with all his other weapons.

Agreed Ganondorf is too powerful but he wasn't in the poll so w couldn't choose him or Bowser and if you had then I would of chosen him instead of Link although you should still let Link have a sword or it just isnt fair at all because nobody has ever seen him fight without it and every one who has ever played super smash bros (any of them) has seen Mario fight hand to hand with people so therefore people know how well Mario fights but not Link

Link would win. We already know he can beat Ganondorf, and I don't ever recall him having a scripted defeat like Mario (Paper Mario comes to mind). Bowser has immense strength and legions of minions. Ganondorf has all that, his own magical power, AND the power of the goddesses. In all fairness though, when Link defeats Ganon, it is usually with the aid of Zelda in some way.
