Do you have a YouTube show idea that is video game related and that you are able to produce under the banner of "Vizzed Productions"? Pitch it on this thread and make a demo "episode" of it. If it is good and appropriate, we might ask you to make the show on the channel!

Requirements:
-Trustworthy and regular Vizzed member
-A detailed description of the show and the name
-That the creating of the show is kept with family friendly standards
-A demo of your episode, where quality and creativity will be judged in high standards
-Have the willingness and the commitment to make the show regularly or consistently
-Be willing to do it under the "Vizzed Productions" banner (still credited to you as the creator, but placed on the Vizzed Productions YouTube Channel
-Do keep in mind that this is done as a hobby, not as a paid job. You do it for the fun of it and the joy of having other people watch and be entertained or develop discussions.

I am open to seeing anything from quality animations, stories, skits, review shows, gameplay, let's plays, news show, battles in the RGR/modern games, tournaments, Top 10s, etc, etc.

Right now, one current "show" that is being developed is (as of now) called "Vizzed Versus", where members of Vizzed play co-op games against each other online with voice commentary and reactions. We are hoping to have more people do stuff like that and make more episodes with it.

So, got an idea? Let us know.

What about " Your Weekly Vizzedard " 

Basically, each week, I would Skype with somebody for about half an hour to an hour, and it would basically be an interview of questions asked by the members of Vizzed. 

Kind of like what that one member did with Davideo7, but on a more constant basis.

As much as these ideas sound interesting, I would hold off on some Vizzed community-related show ideas until this channel actually gets some traction on video game original content. The point of this channel is to also bring activeness, entertainment, and discussion to both the channel and the site, and to attract people to join the community. To start off with only Vizzed community content wouldn't really interest other people. However, I would be interested if someone does like a monthly beginning of the month announcement type of a show that talks about what's new on the community forums, announcement on new competitions, old competition results, and new features from the site, as well as YouTube/twitch channel spotlight. I feel that there was someone who tried to do that last time.

I think I have an idea, how about a indie game showcase (not one youtuber has done it). The show will air weekly games or developers on what they did on a project and what the game most connected to in the retro games (example: fps game connected to doom). Then play with the developer/ game afterwards play the retro style game. Lastly to end it off, do some kind of Q&A type of thing from the vizzed community.

Okay. If we want to focus on video games, let's make a show called Build-off! This weekly show has two or more players competing against each other to build the best structure in Minecraft. However, there are some twists! Now, I remember seeing this somewhere, but I think it's a great idea! Now, in the game, there would be two 3 by 3 by 3 cubes, made of whatever. In the first one, leave a gap in the middle width. So, it's 3 long by 1 wide by 3 tall, space, 3 long by 1 wide by 3 tall. On the farther one (after the space), put signs on all 9 boxes. They have to be twists, like, only use what you can find, PvP match in between, someone else has to build for you, etc. Then, make the same structure (with the signs). Those signs will be the thing to make, like, smiley face, or school bus. There will be either three or five judges, giving a score from 0 to 10. So, the highest score is 30 or 50. If the scores are tied, they must build something (with no twists) that the judges tell them to. Then, the judges panel will either go for player 1 or player 2. Build-off! can feature a live audience. So, this is my idea. I really can't do much, since I'm on a Chromebook. But if this will happen, then just give me something to do.

We talked about this this yesterday during the Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed recording, but I wanted to bring it up here just to make sure that it's good to go. 

A Pod-cast of sorts. Basically, I would do a " show " and put it up on YouTube. Included would be retro video game music ( if Davideo7 is doing a theme for a system that month, I could feature that system, and the submissions if it is a music competition month ) . Also, hopefully, have a guest " co - host " each week. Maybe like interview them with some questions, or just a short 15 to 20 minute appearance for an interview. 

I think I could do just a sound recording. Maybe once a week to start, and 3 hours for each podcast? 

Well...I feel kind of sheepish trying to put this down, but since you mentioned Let's Plays, I was thinking of doing things under the Vizzed Productions channel having to do with them. To be honest, I don't have much of a name, since Let's Plays don't really need much of a name in most cases. It would probably be something simple like "Joy Plays." I actually do Let's Plays under my own channel, and the channel is right here. I have an example of a Let's Play that I'm currently working on right here, and I could easily do LPs of games on Vizzed as well. Although the commentary in that LP that I'm in the middle of may not be family-friendly, I can adjust what I say to work with the family-friendly standards of the channel.

Hopefully, this proposal is decent enough that it might be considered for the channel. It shouldn't be too difficult to keep up with the standards of decent quality and frequent updates. Thank you very much for your time in reading this post.

mario102 : We could do something like this. I would say ask some of the minecraft server staff about this idea and see if they are interested in organizing something like this. If so, maybe record a sample of how this would look like.

thing1 : I think you are overestimating how much time people have to either listen to this or working on this. A 3 hour per week podcast would be wayyy too long, and there really isn't that much content per week to put into 3 hours. I would be interested for a podcast to show up on the channel, but I don't see the amount of content on Vizzed to be able to even reach 1 hour, which is still good. 1 hour is plenty. 

I do have a thought that once this channel gets going, someone can do a monthly community update video that coincides with David's monthly updates in the announcements (competitions, new features, results from previous competitions, monthly theme, etc)

NovemberJoy : Right now, I'm kinda hesitant to do any official Let's Plays on the Vizzed Production Channel, simply because I don't really have a criteria as to which members actually are in charge of doing these Let's Plays, or what type of games are to be played. Maybe when there is a criteria set to pick our "Players" that we can start picking people here. If the channel gets more and more content and more popular, I can do some type of a channel spotlight, where we share a Vizzed user's channel and let them spotlight a Let's Play from your current series.

This section is slowly dieing and such, don't you think that you should change some of your Standard rules'. Its not very youtube like if no one can post videos, lets plays, and so forth without you complain about how unoriginal or uninteresting it can be. theres no way to support this section so once you run out on Viz to pay for it the work you ->not<- doing will be for nothing but a few remembered story.

I'm sorry if this makes me sounds like a bad person but its the truth, either do something about Vizzed Productions or just let it die.

mastergame : Interesting. Obviously you are not paying attention to the other threads on this forum. There is a show that is already in post production for 4 episodes, with a 5th episode in development. Something that you need to keep in mind is that development of a show takes time, so some of the things that you are not seeing here are the ones that are actually working. One of them is actually in development by David himself.

Before you complain about this forum and development on this YouTube channel, you should consider knowing all the information before you post here. Ideas are being brought to my attention, either on this thread or by PM, some are good, some are not, and some are too soon to do. Providing ideas to the forum would help creators to brainstorm what can be done on this channel. The rules are there because this is not OUR YouTube channel, it's Vizzed and more specifically, the owner, so whatever is on this channel must be met with high expectations and quality. 

Finally, I don't do this for Viz or any pay back. This isn't work for me. If you look at my Viz amount, I'm not running out of Viz either.This is for interest sake, and there are others who have an interest in working on this. Instead of complaining, how bout you actually help out if you actually want to support it. No matter what you decide to do, getting support from you is not really my main priority right now. If you want to support it when you start seeing videos, that's fine, but this development is not stopping.

EDIT: To respond to your idea, it would work if there are indie video game makers that are on this site and have a project to talk about. 

play, I really want to do the retro game music podcast idea. I understand it might now work best on your channel, so I want to put it on my channel, if " Vizzed Productions " is willing to sponsor it. Basically, help me with video eitting ( mostly just a graphic, and an intro and outro clip with annotations ) . It would be beneficial for us, and mrfe already said he'd be able to be a " special guest " for an hour the first week.

pretty much something like that. It'll change up in terms of being percise, but I figured you wanted something general, so that should work for what you are needing. 

I don't know how often I would do them, but all songs would be user requested songs put in a playlist, and all questions asked would be questions submitted by viewers here. Maybe 2 a week, 1 with a special guest, 1 with without? 
 

Just wanted to point out that I didn't commit to week 1 of thing's idea. :p I committed to participating at some point near it's beginning, but we never decided when.

Besides, if I participate in the first episode, it could potentially be confusing for listeners. We'd have two people helping explain the show's concept, it's plan, etc; but one wouldn't be on the show for longer than that week.

I just feel like thing1 (or whoever hosts it) should keep the first week to set everything up, talk everything out, etc.
