You know,i recently got bored yesterday and decided to re-read all of the arrancar ark in the Bleach manga.And halfway through i noticed something very..Very weird,have you ever noticed that in nearly every anime in the action genre,there will be some sort of group comprised of characters? Just think about it for a second.

Naruto has the Akatsuki.
Bleach has the Espada.
One Piece has the straw hat pirates.
Blue Exorcist has the True Cross Order.
D.Gray Man has the Black Order.
Fullmetal Alchemist has the Homunculus.
Soul Eater has the DWMA.
Akame Ga Kill has Night Raid and the Jaeger's
Tokyo Ghoul has Aogiri.
Fairy tail has..Well,Fairy Tail.

And i'm not talking about something like the military or something,i'm talking about something..Higher,if you will.There always seems to be some sort of elite group,that have there own little agenda to accomplish.And there is always someone leading them to an extent.Giving them orders,etc. 

So lets play a little game.You dear reader,are the leader of a group of 10 anime characters from any anime what so ever.They don't even need to be in an anime with any action in  it,just pick 10.And finally,why did you pick them,out of so many other characters? A bit of a stupid power fantasy,but come on.Haven't you always wanted to see 10 of your favorite anime characters lined up in a fashion similar to this?



And you being the leader sitting at the head of the table? Nobody can deny how awesome that would be...Well,if they are stupid enough to follow your orders that is.As even the weakest of characters from any anime with action in it,could most likely kill you with a single finger.

Anyhow,its your time now!  So tell me,who is your Akatsuki,who is your Espada,who is your Straw Hat Crew!? You only get 10 slots,use em wisely! I'll give you an example,by telling you mine.You don't have to use pictures.I just use them because..Well,i like pictures i suppose.

10.Goku: Done,i don't even need anymore characters after picking him.And since Akira Toriyama confirmed that DBZ: Battle Of Gods is now canon,Goku does not just have godlike powers,he literally is a god.Could you imagine having someone like this guy at your beck and call?



9.Ruby Rose: Alright,alright,lets not get into the argument of if Rwby is even an anime or not.At the very least,Ruby is a character of animation.We can all agree on that,right? Right.Anyhow,while Maka Albarn may have her extremely awesome techniques,Ruby's personality brings in a much needed upbeat feel to the team.Plus,have you ever seen Ruby in action? She basically gives the finger to gravity,and goes all Matrix on the audience.

8.Alucard: You know,i always say that the best way to describe Alucard is like this: "If God had nightmares,Alucard would basically be Freddy Krueger in that instance." He's just..Alucard.He's freaky,somewhat sadistic,and possibly sociopathic.But still,if you can control him..You got yourself one heck of a guard dog.




7.Lelouch: There is a major difference between a character like Light Yagami,and Lelouch.You see,Lelouch is confident,and his methods are less extreme.Light is well..Arrogant.And i'm betting that if he was real,he would be real annoying to be around.And despite what Lelouch does in his show,he actually seems like a generally nice person.I would rather have a nice smart guy as an ally,than an arrogant smart guy.

Alright fine,Lelouch is a bit arrogant.But much less so in comparison.


6.Ulquiorra: As much as i complain about the tropes of anime and manga on occasion,i gotta admit,if there is one trope that i generally like,its the calm cool and collected trope.I'm just drawn to characters like that.It's one of the reason why i watched Naruto as a kid,after seeing Saskue Uchiha for the first time.And a character such as Ulquiorra fits this spot very well.Plus he is,or at least was,one of the strongest characters in the Bleach anime and manga,so he deserves a spot in my round table.




5.Saber: Saber is honestly one of the few strong female characters in anime today.Do to this i look up to her a great deal,she is basically my version of wonder woman.Not much else to say except you rock..And you suck in Fate/Stay Night.



4.Kaneki Ken: One of the character tropes i also enjoy in anime and manga,are characters that have..Well,a few screws loose.And after reading Tokyo Ghoul,Kaneki easily fits into this category.Plus,he can teach me how to crack my fingers the same way he does! Although,i imagine it would hurt the first few times..




3.Sinon: Sinon is most likely the best character in the entire sword art online series.She has a very interesting background,actual character development,and is arguably also one of the few strong female characters in anime.Also,my favorite firearm is the sniper rifle.It requires focus,and training to fire efficiently.Although i can't speak to much about it,i have only used one 3 times in my life at a local firing range.



2.Edward Elric: Alchemy is the Fullmetal Alchemist series is basically magic,but the show explains the rules of the magic.And there is not doubting Edward's skill in alchemy.So he will be able to take down anyone.Although,lets hope we don't have anything similar to conqueror of shamballa here.As all of his powers will be nullified,making him absolutely worthless...

Btw,why isn't this a skin in a fighting game or something? This is awesome.


1.Guts: This guy is Alucard,if he was human with a sword.In all seriousness though,Guts is a character that constantly surpasses human limits,despite what he is facing.And despite how cliche he can seem at times,he actually is a rather interesting character.And somewhat likable.I imagine he would be annoying to be around though.

9-Vegeta

The guy is slightly stronger than Goku, at least once the Battle of Gods 2 comes out. Other than SSJ3, Vegeta has always been a bit stronger than Goku, and Battle of the Gods 2 is going to be centered around him, so awesomeness incarnate.



8-Bulma

Despite Vegeta's amazing amounts of sheer power, he does need someone to keep him in check, and some men can only be put in line by the true authority-The Wife.

Not only is, but Bulma is extremely good with technology, and therefore can do stuff that we need.

He is an extremely good tactician, and if he comes with a Nightmare, all the better. We needed a tactical mind who's also a bad*** and can make people do things.

4 and 3-Kirito and Asuna

These two seem to do a lot better together, and Yui would get depressed without their presence. Not only that, but Asuna is a wonderful cook and has motherly instincts, plus Kirito is an amazing swordsman, so win win.

It also raises group morale cuz they're together, so woot.



2-Whis

Despite his strangeness as a character, Whis's sheer power is completely unrivaled, even dwarfing that of Beerus, who outclassed even SSJ God Goku.

So, if tactics fail us, he's all that I've got left.

Once again, anime women who can actually fight are awesome.

Mikasa is, despite her very nonchalant response to everything except Erin dying, extremely tale melted when it comes to killing things, and is a practical genius, which would also help with tactics for Lelouch.



So, that's my team. Care to comment on it?

Man, this is tough... You guys had some great picks... I don't really want to use the sames ones... But I might... Also, these are in no particular order, just who I'd want in my team. Also, I realize that some of these characters might not work well with each other, but that doesn't matter, because I'm the boss and they better listen to me!!

10. Izuru Kira from BLEACH. Wabisuke... Best shikai ever.

9. Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell. Super badass, can swap bodies if too injured, world class hacker, her list of pros goes on and on.

8. Abel Nightroad from Trinity Blood. A holy vampire that feeds on other vampires!? Yes! You're hired!

7. Shikamaru Nara from Naruto. Being able to control people by using their shadows? Super tactical mind? Quit being so lazy, and join up!

6. Sango from Inuyasha. Expert demon hunter, Hiraikotsu, multiple hidden weapons, poison expert, etc... Her expertise would be very useful for slaying demons and the like.

5. Nausicaa from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Natural born leader, great in a fight, proficient with swords and guns, endless compassion and love of nature. A great asset to any organization (That isn't evil).

4. Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist. Who said they all had to be fighters? Not every problem can be solved by punching it away! Winry's mechanical knowledge is the best around! I know she deals primarily with automail, but she could use her smarts to learn everything else mechanical, I'm sure.

3. "Hot Ice" Hilda from Outlaw Star. Her knowledge of everything Space Piratey could be endlessly vital. And she knows how to command, as well as handle herself in a fight, even in her underwear! Now, that seems pretty badass to me.

2. D from Vampire Hunter D. He's pretty much indestructible (Assuming, of course, he isn't fighting other people of near-indestructible-ness) he knows how to handle a sword, he's a dhampir (half human, half vampire), Master Vampire Hunter, and he's got the creepy hand that rivals Miroku's. I just hope Abel doesn't try to eat him... Well, he's only half...

1. Kome Sawaguchi from Blue Seed. Heavy arms expert, demolitions, anything large and makes a boom, she's mastered it. 


Well, that would be my list. I totally wanted SO many others, (Guts, Revy, Goku, etc...) but I was trying to avoid using the same characters. Also, there are plenty of strong female badass in anime, check out my list. You did talk about the few strong females in anime today, which makes more sense.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my list, even though it's a little long, that's why I made the names in bold, so you could just skip down the list that way if you really don't feel like reading, I need to stop, this is too long already. Thanks!

1. Yusuke Urameshi
The hero of Yu Yu Hakusho, sometimes called the Poltergeist Report in the country western circles. He packs a punch with his attitude and mean fighting chops. He isn't indestructible, but he makes up for that with his hubris. In his show he is a spirit detective and the leader of the so called "Team Urameshi" in the Dark Tournament Arc.

2. Spike Spiegel
We can't let the cool stop flowing on this team as the next one up would be the main character of the hit series Cowboy Bebop. Spike Spiegel needs no introductions as the notorious space cowboy who can't let go of his past while travelling through space with the unlucky bounty hunter squad on the spaceship Bebop.

3. Dio Brando
"Mudada," for it is I, Dio, who becomes the third pick into my team. Despite being the main antagonist in quite a few arcs in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, he comes to bring a little bit of vampire into this team of anti-heroes. He is ruthless, cunning and self-absorbed, what is there not to love?

4. Golgo 13
If the situation wasn't bad enough at number 4 enters the namesake character of the show Golgo 13. This assassin goes by many names, but he is most infamous with the name Golgo 13, a name that is the reference to the death of Jesus Christ. What a scary guy!'

5. Masamune Date
"Are you ready guys!? Put ya guns on!" This Warring States era warlord has been fictionalized so many times that one can lose count, but the best version was definitely in the Sengoku Basara anime, where this hot headed and young lord from a small koku acts like a the leader of a bosozoku.

6. Hanma Yujiro
Hailed as strongest creature in the world, this man single-handedly brought down a whole nation and made George W. Bush his chauffeur. He has trained his body beyond perfection and remains undefeated for the whole duration of the anime (and the respective manga where he really shows what he's made of).

7. Mami Tomoe
I think I've gone way over my head with this list, but my seventh pick for the team would be Mami from Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. She is by far the most powerful magical girl in the show, if we don't count MadoKami or Rebellion Homura. She like tea and cake, but won't hold back to show off her best attacks. I give her a tip of the fedora and a nod so deep that I almost lost my head.

8. Revy
No list is complete without Revy in it. This package of badass from Black Lagoon could take down anything. There is no stopping her volatile attitude and the barrage from her modified Berettas.

9. Mugen
I am starting to think this list is rather reckless when I add Mugen from Samurai Champloo at 9th. This world of hurt hails from the Ryukyu Islands where life wasn't really moving on the fast lane. He has a mean self-made sword fighting style that is completely unpredictable. He is lazy, but when facing the challenge he will take it, yet he won't meditate under a waterfall for it.

10. Shinosuke Nohara
The horror... the horror...

I like the idea of this so here we go. 
1: Tsubaki from soul eater Hotty with ninja skills + can turn into practically any weapon = awesome 
2: Soifon from bleach another hotty with ninja skills but this one has a mean one two combo and if all else fails *bonkia* * nuke*
3: Logan(wolverine) from x-men evolution come on it wolverine 
4: Rin from blue exorcist every team needs a hot headed half demon right?
5: Shikamaru from Naruto this is perhaps my favorite on the team the lazy genius. lazy = most expedient way out in our favor plus he has the shadow control thing going for him
6:Aizen from bleach cant go wrong with having a genius with unspeakable power and really no hesitation about killing if needed 
7: Celty Sturluson from Durarara just because 
8: Piccolo from dragonball z because he was my favorite from the show and he tends to keep a level head....most of the time
9: Olivier Armstrong from full metal alchemist strong tactical mind and a real fire brand 
10: Raven from teen titans just for that magic boost to round us out

1 Gio: He's kind of like me in some ways, and he can combine with omegaxis to become megaman. He makes a pretty good delivery man!
2 Lan: Gotta say, I like his netnavi...even if he can get a little overconfident.
3 Kirby: Duh! He can literally be anything he wants to be!
4 Maylu: Well, lan's here with megaman, it just seemed right to have Maylu and Roll
5 Metaknight: He's a mysterious one, but he's a good guy and a strong fighter.
6 Chaud: He's a good fighter. He too, can be self-confident, but he's usually more reserved than Lan. Besides, he's the only other guy that can     do the Program Advance
7 Tif--we need her to call the warp star for kirby
8 Tuff--can't have one without the other!
9 Omegaxis--I probably should add him, because he is his own character.
10 Higsby with numberman--he does have the most comprehensive collection of battle chips you know!

Oh, I did not realize we were trying to beat each others teams. Thought we were just picking teams I'm guessing that my team will not match up to the power of your teams, but I would be willing to bet that they would be the strongest knit teams. That's important too. It's not all power guts and strategy (or magic as some of you like to use.)
