The Vizzed Minecraft Server has been fixed and has been updated to the latest version of Minecraft! You no longer have to use an older version of Minecraft to use our Minecraft server, you can use it with the latest version. The server now uses Spigot which should also make the server run better.


I've updated a bunch of the plugins on the server and I've also added a new plugin which shows some of your minecraft related stats right on your profile (and more stats to come). When you log into the server for the first time since this feature was added, a new table will appear on your profile and that'll begin keeping track of your stats. Everyone's play time will start at 0 since I wasn't tracking play time before and have no way of knowing what everyone's play time was previously.

Davideo7 : Letting you know, I will be updating the stores so they can sell all 1.8 items.

To let everyone know, I will now be on the server in the basement of the IB-Mall (formally known as the Iggyland store) (which will sell all 1.8 items and maybe other additional items as well]). I will open up the 1.8 basement sometime tomorrow night, I'll let you all know on when this will happen.

IgorBird122 : Actually it'll probably be a while before we do that because we gotta figure out fair prices for items and the prices have to match prices of current items. It's going to be a lot of work. For the time being though, I can create a 2nd survival world that has resources from 1.8 so that users have access to the new stuff while we upgrade the price guide.

IgorBird122 : The prices need to be based on the price guide. What formula are you going to use for figuring out the prices?

Davideo7 : How I do it, I use the price guide that is provided and see on the rarity on those items / blocks (on the list and the new items), and I come up with those estimated prices for the new items / blocks.

IgorBird122 : It's a very complicating and time consuming process really. You have to figure out a price based on an items rarity and how hard it is to create. The prices all need to be balanced so the prices of all items need to be relevant to each other. Please hold off on it for a while until we can discuss it more.

Is the chat filter more respectful and less harsh than when it was before? Like, can I actually say assistance now without having to type out the entire sentence again and replacing the word "assistance" with "help"? xP

Is there a place on the server where you can roam like in a normal world.
Can gather wood and all so you can build up houses or structures or do you need to buy all your blocks?

burento : Yes! We have a world called 'Genrody' which is, in essence, similar to playing single-player on survival. The only difference is that others can play along side you. The portal to Genrody can be found underneath Vizzed Ville's Town Hall, the large white structure in the middle of the island that you originally spawn on.

burento : Survival world? Yeap. Go into the Town Square of Vizzed Ville (the center building of the main island) and go downstairs and enter the portal titled 'Genrody'.

I'm confused on how to buy a lot. I keep right clicking the sign and nothing happens.

That's good. I'm on the server right now, but I can't seem to fly on my plot, despite buying that for my two plots in Geeogree's Island. Is this a by-product of the server update?

Davideo7 : I should get all the rough estimate prices on the 1.8 items (and other items that ain't sold in the 3 stores) done sometime between Christmas and New Years, and hopefully we'll start having users buy and sell those items after the first of the year.


Proxavior : Not sure on what's causing that issue to happen, unless it's from someone else. If it's from David, then it might just be a glitch of some sorts.

Darkpower508 : We also have some kind of glitch with the coding to enable flying in your area, but this problem should be fixed soon.

IgorBird122 : You still need to tell me exactly how you plan to come up with the prices, you can't just make up the prices.

Davideo7 : Well, once I come with a rough estimate, I'll show you the prices on what you think on them, like if any of those prices needs changed. And how I plan out these "rough estimate", I have been researching on the Minecraft wiki and other sources, to check out each and every item released in 1.8 (plus other items not sold in the 3 stores) like the rarity, how much it has with attacking/defense, and how much content it takes to make these items. I have been adding all these, and trying to come up with a good price, and once I come up with a good one, I'll show you and the other OPs if you like those prices and if anything else needs changed.

Davideo7 : The server died today, I can't seem to get the map or the server connection working, I've tried everything I can from this end, I hope it's nothing catastrophic, I've had fun and hope to have more.
