Do your dreams keep repeating a theme?

For the past few weeks, a repeating theme in my dreams has been my best friend leaving me without telling me or disappearing. It's quite scary because it's as if it's foreshadowing that it's actually going to happen D=

Also, I used to somewhat frequently get dreams that ended with me in the middle of falling.

I've recently had dreams in which I would fail both a math and science test. They're really scary when they happen because I have this weird problem thing where, in some dreams, I don't even know I'm dreaming. Like, even in the most unreal or crazy dreams . I think it's actually happening! So, yeah. Failing math and science tests is my most recent recurring theme in dreams. This is unfortunate because, even after I wake up and realize everything isn't real, I keep wondering whether, like in your case, the dreams are "foreshadowing" a future incident... My exams are coming up soon... . 

But, failing exams, without question, isn't NEARLY as horrible as losing a best friend . My dreams always have a way of making such simple things seem terrifying, though... Why does my subconscious side hate me so much? XD.

Anyway, I hope your repeating theme isn't foreshadowing a future event in your life. You definitely don't deserve to lose a friend . Not someone like you. Who would walk away from a cheery, kind person such as yourself, though, right? .

Anyway, waking up in the middle of falling in a dream? Scary as heck. It's been happening to me ever since I could remember. It hasn't stopped yet .

EDIT: Just wanted to point out, the waking up in the middle of falling thing is kinda frightening sometimes, but it's been happening to me so often for so long that it's actually started to get funny. XD.

NintendoFanKimmy: I didn't think the dreams foreshadowing events thing was possible in real life, but it is. I always thought it was something that only happened in stories!

That losing my best friend dream was foreshadowing something. But it was a good thing. A couple days after I had that dream for the 3rd time, I invited my best friend to Youth Group. She said she couldn't go, and then she gave me an apology like always, but it was different this time. She said she was sorry if it seemed like she kept making excuses not to go and she tries to go but she's always super busy.

Basically, I had dreams about losing her, and a few days later she attempted to make sure that I didn't think I was starting to lose her. I always tried to convince her it was OK when she couldn't hang out and I told her about the bright side, so seeing her like that was really surprising and scary She said I'm really sorry 3 times in that text

Failing exams is nothing compared to losing a best friend, like you said. I'd rather lose at least a few of my other friends than lose any of my 3 best friends. My best friend literally caused me to change my life a lot, and she's the biggest help to keep my personality going so great.

PacmanandMariofan : That dreams foreshadowing events thing definitely is possible . I just made a thread yesterday about the most recent time it happened to me. It's freaky, but it's also really cool sometimes.

I do hope that isn't what is happening for you though. Losing your best friends has to suck, so I'm really hoping that isn't what you're experiencing. I know that the last time you posted in this thread was one month ago, so you should post what actually happened because I am curious... I hope it ends/ended well and it was just one of those dreams you think are real. Peace .

MCJungleKitty : It was foreshadowing something completely different. It's in my last post, but I'll sum it up here. The dreams were about me losing my best friend, but a few days later she texted me and apologized. She was letting me know that I'm not losing her, and that she was very busy most of the time but she was trying to be able to hang out with me.
