Do you own any Steam software? If so, what kinds? The only software I own are RPG Maker VX Ace and RPG Maker XP. I've found it difficult to just start a project in either of these. But I don't regret getting them. Some day I plan on making a game, and these will help me accomplish my goal. I hope Humble Bundle re-bundles the RPG Maker software in the future. It was probably their best bundle ever (in terms of value).

I got Music Make 6 by cakewalk a little while ago when it was on sale. I'm kinda annoyed since it really wasn't what I wanted. The Piano roll system was a pain to use, most of it needed live recording and the Midi bank was crap. Also, it only let you export to Mp3 for 30 days? Kinda odd...

I just stick with LMMS which is a free music making software, similar to FL Studio but just not as professional.

I've actually considered getting RPG Maker myself. My friend has VX Ave (I think) and it looks simple. Or at least it does when he is working with it!
