Do you consider this Zelda Dungeon to be a traditional temple?

I haven't made a post or posted for a really long time but here is something I've been wanting to post but haven't gotten around to it. So, in Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, there is a dungeon that you go to twice in the game called Forsaken Fortress. If you've ever played the game you know what I'm talking about. When you go there for the second time, you kind of have a mid boss, you get an item, and you also have a regular big boss to fight. Now what I'm trying to get at is that this dungeon doesn't really feel like your traditional temple. (Example of a traditional temple: Forbidden Forest, Tower of the Gods). You don't have to find any keys for this dungeon and you can get through it really quickly. To me this doesn't actually feel like a temple or a true "Zelda Dungeon". What do you consider this dungeon or temple to be?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense XD It's hard to explain.

Yes it is a traditional dungeon, in almost every aspect. I think the only thing it does that strays from a standard dungeon is the fact that it is revisited, which has only been done 3 other times in Zelda history. I don't know why it feels unorthadox to you, as I felt it was really fun, and probably the most fun dungeon Id gone to at that point in the game. One thing, though, I think the only thing that designates a dungeon from a mini-dungeon is a boss and a heart container. Also, the Skull Hammer. Nothing is more satisfying than sending your enemies flying to oblivion.

SMBLOZ123 : Oh ya, I'm not saying it's not fun. It totally is a fun dungeon. The fact that you fight phantom Ganon for the first time is great. I think it's really only because it's so short. I agree with you.
