So, I've been sucked into the hype that WatchDogs is generating.  I don't usually buy games brand new, but I had a gift voucher to use, so I splurged out and pre-order the game.

It was only after I made the purchase that I decided to check if my PC meets the minimum specs for the game.  And, no, no, NOOooooo!

So this would have to be the most expensive game I've ever paid full price for, because I'm also upgrading my video card to play it.  At least it's an investment for the future, so to speak, but yeah...a couple of questions.

Do you usually pay full price for games?

Are you excited for the release of WatchDogs?

Ever had a moment when you've had to specifically purchase something extra so you could use another purchased item?

My only concern is it may feel very repetitive.
I usually wait till games are half the launch price.

Watchdogs is something I'm definitely going to get on console. You would need a top of the line computer to play it. What would you expect with a game as large and good looking as this. I too am really excited for this game. I have been following this from near the beginning. I've saved up some money but I've got other things I actually need to buy right now so it may be a long while before I can ever actually get my hands on the game. Any case I'm really excited for the release of this game.

I never usually pay full price for games if they're on PC. I usually just wait till steam goes on sale and get a twice as much games. However if it's on console then I usually pay full price. However it's full price for the used copy. I almost never buy a new copy unless I really like the game.

I've never had to purchase anything extra in order to use an item. Most games I buy I check the requirements to see if I can run it at a decent frame rate.

I will admit, Watchdogs does look like it will be pretty interesting. However, I will probably just pass on this game. I have enough open world games to last me a long time, and I do not need another one. 

When I buy games on consoles, I usually try to buy the game new, and at full price. The games I buy really need support, and I do not want to take away any money from the developers or the publishers that bring the games over to the States. If I end up buying a game for a PC though, that is something entirely different. I will usually wait a long time for those games, if I ever actually do end up buying them. Oftentimes, I have to skip over them anyway because the game would end up running better on my PS3 than my PC.

The only time I have ever had to buy something "extra" was when I ended up buying a game for my PS2 once, and then when I got home, I realized that my little brother had broken both controllers. Needless to say, I was not amused, and I ended up having to go get more controllers.

I hope that price includes the graphics card because 400 just for a psu is mental.
I'm guessing you got a pretty good gpu since you need power cables, most just pull power from the
board.
Fyi the game might not be so bad, the makers said the specs would be lower than rumoured.
Either way I should be able to run it at Max.
I saw ba game screen next to Google maps, it was impressive.

A future investment then maybe. I would love to set up dual monitors, if I had the money id get some right now.

WATCH_DOGS looks like a good game for me. In fact, I'm getting this game (the PS3 version) for this yr.'s Xmas. When I get the game, I want to try it to see if it's any good.

I love how the shop owner says he'll fix it and then he tells the fake police officers that it's all the fault of the other guys.

I keep hearing people talk about this game, but I dont think I have any intention of trying it out. If Markiplier does a few videos of it, I will watch them, but unless he does and I really like them, I have no thought on actually getting the game.
