Max 3 poem's/person.

There is no limit how long the poem should be, so it does not matter if you have poem that is only 10 words long or even 400 words long. Quality before quantity

And in March 1st I will choose 3 best poems. (Even if you write 3 poems I will only choose one, even if they all are better than other peoples writings. So it is not possible only one person to win all the prizes.)

Oh, wow! Nothing's funner than writing poems about video games! I'm so eager to get started! Beforehand, though, I have a question: Am I allowed to submit a poem that I have posted in another thread before?

Alright then, here it is. I really hope it will be considered as a video game poem, as it revolves around a character from Pokemon X and Y... It is a short poem I made out of sheer boredom portraying and Ex- Team Flare Grunt called Jerry looking back on his life in the crime business. It's called It Was Hard To Feel Blue When I Was In The Red:

Here I stand motionless in central Laverre City.

I'm no longer confident, no longer witty.

I'm still in my uniform, I still have my ways.

It brings back memories from those good, ol' days.

Though those times are regarded as sad,


Being part of Team Flare, I was more than glad.

Being very cruel, callous, and mean,

Team Flare was going to wipe the slate clean.

While most of the world was filled with fear and sorrow,

I couldn't care less; I had a ticket to tomorrow.

That's right, for about five million dollars, you could join the Team,

And be one of the few to survive the beam.

Team Flare was without a doubt one of the best,

Until that nuisance put it to rest.

That damned brat put an end to us all,

Being famous and honored for causing Team Flare's fall.

The beam backfired, killing our boss and saving the land,

Causing the rest of us Grunts and Admins to disband.

While my team is nothing more than severed,

I shall always remain as loyal as ever.

Though it seems as though we are at an end,

I shall swear a vow that we will rise again.

That's right, Trainers! And Coordinators, too!

Be prepared for Pokemon X and Y 2!

While my team is nothing more than dead,

It was hard to feel blue when I was in the red.

Cactuar : DLC stands for Downloadable Content.  Companies such as EA are infamous for making a game pay-to-win (such as Dungeon Keeper), or withholding significant parts of the games in order to profit.  People still buy their games, but they've been rated the worst company in America for the past 2 years in a row, and are predicted to win it again.

A Poem About RPG Games

How I love to play, these types of games.
All of them with different names.
The storyline, music, soundtracks and more.
For me it is a wild rage galore!

I have never been so happy, as to play that kind of genre, of game.
Most of them that, I play are not lame.
RPG is the one that, I am most comfortable to play.
I can play the same RPG all the time, and day by day.

I wish at times I could have abilities, such as magic to fight, and with a sword.
I can get lost in the gameplay, without being bored.
But the RPG games that, I play more mostly are old school.
Like FF series, chrono trigger and legend of zelda too.

Nowadays RPG games are not worth playing, as some will lack storyline or gameplay.
Then its like one is better than the other.
In a way most RPG, games can be addicting.
It depends on how you play it that, can be convincing

It can leave you intense, because of the battles and challenges, that you had.
Even when there were times, that you did play bad.
Did you know this long ago?
It is to have said that video games, helps and makes disabled people grow.

In a way of helping them, to be more smarter and creative.
That makes me really appreciative.
In any case, we all love to play video games no matter the genre.
Even if it is action, platform, puzzle even in asia.

For what is worth playing, is worth playing for.
What matters the most, is the enjoyment we have from it, and more.
Having great times, with family and friends
I always keep a memory of that, as my past bends.

My and I brother still, have our megadrive console till this day.
We keep it as a treasure in a way.
The old games that we used to play.
We never want to forget, them as it took our breath away.

Games can be shocking, and so exciting to us.
When we play theres nothing but, silence as no one makes a fuss.
I say this, video games forever we play!
Even though things has changed, from the past to the present, into the future to stay.

To be honest, those prizes are very, very low amounts of Viz for the people that spend lots of time writing their poem(s). Depending on how much activity this contest gets, I'll donate Viz for the prizes.

TheFadedWarrior : That's the main reason I haven't created a longer/better one. I mean I know it is a lot of Viz for me personally but I also know it isn't much in general.
