I'm stuck picking which two characters should stick in my party until the end of the game. Right now I decided to go with Cecil(for obvious reasons), Rydia, and Porom. I don't know who I should add to fill up the last two spots. Kain doesn't have much utility, since he only has jump and his normal attacks. I heard that Edge's attack/defense isn't exactly the best. Yang is cool and all, but his magic defense is ehh, and I don't know how he compares in stats with the other damage dealers. And Cid is just...there, whacking baddies with his Thor hammer. I know I don't see myself using Edward in my party, he just doesn't suit my style. OH, and I don't know if I should switch Porom with Rosa. I just finished getting the weapons in the Cave of Trials so there's where I stand right now.
