NintendoFanKimmy: Legend in the Making Chapter Nine: Louie, Louie Having conquered the regional villains of both the Pokémon World and the Mario World, NintendoFanKimmy, greenluigi and ex- Team Flare Grunt Jerry were on their way to the next one. Greenluigi stretched out his arms and put them behind his big, blond head. “Fells pretty good to know we actually destroyed the first piece of XZH, eh?” Kimmy and Jerry nodded. “Yeah,” replied the redhead, looking rather guilty. “I just wish I could’ve done something to help you two. I feel like a coward.” Green and Kimmy looked at each other. “Aw, don’t feel bad, Jerry!” reassured Green in his reassuring voice, which, compared to other reassuring voices, was not very reassuring. Then, NintendoFanKimmy patted his back. “You saved us in the end, you know,” she said with a small grin. “We all defeated Antasma.” Then, Jerry turned to the cousins. “Whatever. You’re right, I guess. But what about before Antasma? Besides Lysandre, I mean. Beat anyone other than those two chumps?” Greenluigi and Kimmy thought for a while. “Come to think of it, yeah, actually,” said NintendoFanKimmy. “A day after we left Vizzed, still before we arrived at the Pokémon World and met you, we were invited by some old woman for soup. Little did we know…” Then, Jerry widened his eyes. “I’m all ears!” Kimmy continued, “It was actually Shao Kahn in disguise. From Mortal Kombat. Green chickened out; element-using baddies were his weakness, so I had to handle it. I didn’t have a Pokémon, though. Until A user of this, one of my good my friends from Vizzed, came along and lent me a Sylveon just in time. We blasted Kahn away, and said our goodbyes to User. According to what he last said to me, he’s chasing the same goal we are.” Then, Jerry nodded. “Cool. We better not dilly-dally, though. We’ve got a mission to complete!” Then, the trio continued heading on their way to the next World, whatever it was. Regardless of the to-be exterminated enemies that lay ahead of them, they were prepared for anything. Greenluigi had a pocket-knife; NintendoFanKimmy had her Pokémon, Meganium, or Chiko; And Jerry had a small handgun. They weren’t armed with much, but their motivation itself was enough. Kimmy untwined the map. “Hmm…” she started. “According to this copy of the Electronic World map, our next destination is the Pikmin World.” Within a few hours’ time, Kimmy, green, and Jerry arrived at the front entrance of the Pikmin World. They had learned by then that every World was the same; the entrance looked like a gate, and beyond the gate seemed to be an amusement park themed on the World that lay beyond. Once they made their first steps through the ‘gates’, though, it felt like walking through a wall made up of Jell-O. Everything behind them disappeared, and the ‘… World-based theme park’ was no longer a theme park, but the World itself. They uncomfortably walked through the invisible wall yet again, and were officially in the Pikmin World. “Oh, wow!” exclaimed greenluigi, fascinated. “It’s just like what those other World inhabitants call “The Real World”. Earth, I believe. Anyway, it seems to be deserted, though.” It was, indeed, rather empty. Not empty of beautiful yet unusually huge trees, flowers and other forest plants, that is. Just no other signs of life aside from plants. Until they heard the bushes in the distance rustle. “Stand back!” warned Jerry, his gun at the ready. “Or I’ll shoot!” Then, silence. Afterwards, footsteps from the same bush could be heard drawing nearer and nearer. Also, a singing voice was audible. “Louie, Louie,” it went. Then, right before he was about to fire, Jerry put his gun down after the figure that was approaching made itself clear. The figure was human – sort of. He had a small tuft of hair on his head, a big nose, was wearing some sort of spacesuit, and was about the same height as shorter than Jerry by a lot, the same height as NintendoFanKimmy, and a little, tiny bit taller than greenluigi. Then, NintendoFanKimmy found out what he was – a Hocotanian! “Hello, good sir,” started the girl as she walked forward and shook his hand. “You’re a resident of planet Hocotate, am I correct?” The Hocotate citizen nodded. “U-uh-huh. A, uh, f-friend of mine and I a-are visiting, uh, our old friends, the, uh, P-Pikmin.” Kimmy and Jerry looked at each other. “Boy!” exclaimed greenluigi. “You sure stutter a lot!” Then, Jerry scoffed. “What do you expect? He’s blond, after all.” Then, green nudged him. “Hey! So am I!” Then, the Hocotanian introduced himself. “I-it’s very nice to meet you all. M-my name is L-Louie.” Jerry snickered. “Okay, then, L-Louie.” Then, Louie frowned. “Sorry.” Then, Louie cleared his throat. “I want you to meet my friend Olimar. He comes from Hocotate, just like me. Come.” Greenluigi, NintendoFanKimmy and a suspicious Jerry followed the blond into the ridiculously tall grass, way over their heads. It was like the “Real World”, where Xavier, Zoey, and Hailey were born, but ten times larger. All anxious to see Olimar, or better known as Captain Olimar, for he leads and commands his group of Pikmin friends. This group consists of multiple Red Pikmin, Yellow Pikmin, Blue Pikmin, Purple Pikmin, White Pikmin, Winged Pikmin, and Rock Pikmin. He was best friends and especially close with one particular Yellow Pikmin. She was the first one he met. Just before arriving at the site where Olimar and Louie had stationed the rocket ship, they heard a loud and rather unfriendly series of rustles from the bushes behind them grow continuously louder and louder. Frightened, Jerry ran and hid behind green, Kimmy, and Louie. They all turned around and greeted him with unimpressed facial expressions. “E-heh. Uh… I s-should probably stay back h-here, as I have a g-gun. Like a snip-sniper, you know?” Then, the three people he was hiding behind rolled their eyes and turned back around; green’s knife at the ready; Kimmy’s Pokéball on hand; and Louie’s flock of Pikmin friends right behind him. Then, slashing the last patch of grass that stood between itself and Louie, Kimmy, green and Jerry, the cause of the noise made its appearance clear. “It’s the Titan Dweevil!” cried and anxious Louie, picking up a White Pikmin. “Stand back, everyone! You don’t know who you’re messing with!” NintendoFanKimmy frowned. “We’re not messing with it! It’s just messing with us!” Louie yelled, “Just stand back for heaven’s sake!” Jerry, Kimmy, and greenluigi quickly did what they were told, yet felt like they should have been helping out. After about ten minutes, the battle between Louie and the enormous Titan Dweevil, this appeared to be a large, robotic spider of some sort, raged on to great scale and ferocity. “Ah! Where’s Olimar when you need him?” panted an exhausted Louie, regrettably throwing his Pikmin, whom he knew were to be killed, at their attacker. “Well,” started Kimmy. “We can’t just sit back here and do nothing, guys! We’ve got to help! Louie’s going to get killed unless we do something!” Then, she and her cousin charged into the battlefield, leaving Jerry behind. He was not the bravest of them all. “Charge!” NintendoFanKimmy and greenluigi yelled. They weren’t the best at setting up ambushes. But this antagonist was too strong to risk and ambush on. They had to charge at it, head-on. “Go, Chiko!” yelled Kimmy, clicking on the Pokéball button and sending out her beloved Meganium. “Use Solar Beam, and hit it hard!” Chiko jumped high up into the sky, closer to the sunlight so it could charge its beam of light. “Mega… Nium!” Its Solar Beam was fully charged, and it shot it straight to the Titan Dweevil’s back. The impact was huge. “Yay!” exclaimed Kimmy. “Direct hit!” But, to her surprise, the smoke from the explosion cleared out, and there the electronic spider was, still standing, and standing strong, too. “Shoot! Our power! It isn’t enough! Could you lend us a hand, green?” Greenluigi nodded. “But of course!” Then, NintendoFanKimmy realized how stupid asking him for help was. The odds of a Meganium beating – no, surviving – against that thing were much, much higher than that of an eleven year old boy with a simple pocket-knife. “Uh, green, never mind!” Just in time, also realizing how dumb it was to attack like that, turned around and dodged a quick slash from the Titan Dweevil’s sharp blade. “Phew. So, what’s the plan?” Kimmy thought. Then, she shrugged. “Hit and run? With the element of surprise, that is.” Greenluigi smiled. “I like the way you think, cousin! Let’s do this!” Then, once they were in the blind spot of the Titan Dweevil, the Vizzed citizens scurried back to the small ‘hideout’ behind the parked spaceship. Meanwhile, Louie was holding back the monster. “Jerry! Jerry! Come! Please! We need your help out there!” begged NintendoFanKimmy, tugging his arm. “Hurry up!” Jerry readjusted his huge, red sunglasses that had fallen on his nose while he was taking a nap, and he blinked. “O-oh! Okay!” They then proceeded to tell the Ex- Team Flare Grunt their plan. “So, an ambush? Which we run away from right after attacking? Ha ha. Gosh, Kimmy, I have to say, that has got to be the most retarded idea I have ever heard.” Then, greenluigi frowned. “It’s all we’ve got. Let’s just do it. For Louie. He’s dying out there, you know. Risking his life for us. The least we can do is try to save him.” Those words definitely seeped into Jerry’s mind. “I’m sorry. You’re right. Let’s do this, then. We hide behind that bush. Then, I’ll shoot its leg, green, you stab its leg, and Kimmy, it would take too long for you to call out Chiko, so just punch it or something. Then, we run for our lives.” NintendoFanKimmy and greenluigi nodded. “Right.” Jerry finally had a sense of leadership to him. This was unusual, and impressed the lot. “Let’s go.” And the three of them dashed to a patch of grass right behind the beast. “On my mark, guys. On my mark.” NintendoFanKimmy: Legend in the Making Chapter Nine: Louie, Louie Having conquered the regional villains of both the Pokémon World and the Mario World, NintendoFanKimmy, greenluigi and ex- Team Flare Grunt Jerry were on their way to the next one.
