Remember, this has to have happened in the eighties. If it was back in the seventies I will personally give you more than just CP.
Well, I have discussed mine in many previous threads elsewhere but the gas station Pacman and the Pole position on my friends dads Colecovision who never let us actually play in the early eighties are probably my earliest memories. Had I been born a few years earlier I might have been more in to pinball.
(The fact that spellcheck wanted to change Pacman to POKEMON MAKES ME WANT TO GO APE!!!!)

My first gaming experience was from an electronic portable football game, it was one of the early handhelds made in the late seventies I think. I played that for hours, this in turn led me into getting a gameboy and from there the rest is as you might say "history".

Also I did get into pinball but it wasn't until the early 90's when the bowling alley I had a league every saturday at had some machines. MK and MKII had more of my attention but I also enjoyed the Pinball it is some fun stuff.  I got the pinball FX for Xbox but it just doesn't emulate the feel of being on the actual machine.

I remember when my mother bought me the original Nintendo NES system I think it was for my sixth birthday. This was about 1988 or 1989 and the first Mario game was the game I I ever played.

It was late 80s and I remember playing on the Atari 2600 (or 7800) at my grandfather's house.  We had Spider Fighter, Plaque Attack and a few other games.  I remember liking Burger Fight or Food Fight or whatever a  lot and my all time favorite was River Raid.

I played a ton when he died and we got the video games.  Games like Combat and Golf were very simple and ate up all sorts of time.  We had the little spinny controller for the games like Pong and Break-Out and the more advanced controllers were available for the better games.  Adventure was another good one.  I remember having anxiety attacks over the bad guys going after me.

I don't remember my very 'first' gaming experience since my mother was pregnant with me at the time.

I remember a few different games I used to play that I tried so hard to beat before my mother did but I couldn't. The first game I finally beat before her was Duck Tales. I was so happy.

I think it was when I was 4 my grandpa brought over this huge clunky computer he was working on in IBM.
It had one program for us kids.  You used a joystick to move the cursor to make lines and with the button on the stick you could change the color!  Compared to today's games it's nothing to bat an eye at, but my brother and I fought over the rights to play it. Unfortunately after that my parents decided it would not be good to have games in the house since it would take us away from school work and chores.

Didn't get to play until I was in middle school.  And my folks were right it did take me away from school work!
