Welcome welcome welcome,to the Pokemon reviews,i have returned,and well all know without my absolutely awesome reviews,this entire world would be out of balance,but enough of my gloating,anyway,today i am reviewing one of the few Pokemon that i really like,by that i mean that its just on the line of "favorite" But i don't really like it to that extent,anyway lets take a look at slowking,...my god its like if Double d from ed edd n eddy got turned into a Pokemon

Alright Slowking can have 4 of these moves,and there all random,so...have fun

Growl.5:no...

Water gun,9: This move has a base attack damage of 40 and has 100% accuracy,its a good move so take it

Confusion,14: This move has a base attack damage of 50 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has a 10% chance of confusing the target,take it use it love it

Disable,19:...somewhat useful but i don't like it,so don't take it...what at least i didn't throw it away for a running gag.

Headbutt.23: This move has a base attack damage of 70 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has a 30% chance of making the target flinch,good move take it

Water pulse.28: This move has a base attack damage of 60 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has a 20% chance of confusing the target,replace water gun with this.

Zen headbutt.32: This move has a base attack damage of 80 and has 90% accuracy,also this move has a 20% chance of making the target flinch,a bit to risky for my taste,considering it does not have 100% accuracy,but still i will not deny it,this is a good move,so take it,its just not for me

Nasty plot,36: Ah here we go,the competitive community is drawn to this move like moths to a flame,this move raises the users special attack stat by 2 stages,good move,but its not that useful for in game,still use it if you want

Swagger,41: This move raises the targets attack by 2 stages and has 90% accuracy,this is a good move and i do recommend taking it,but don't use it all willy nilly,use it sparingly,you do NOT want to give your target a major attack boost

Psychic,45: Ah the salvation of ANY moveset,this move has a base attack damage of 90 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has a 30% chance of lowering the targets special def,stat by 1 stage,this move can make literally any set better,even some of the worst Pokemon i have reviewed, (spinirak Arbok muk Mr.mime) Can learn this move,so take it use it and make love to i-i mean love it

Trump card,49: Uh...okay i am going to be honest guys,i have no idea on how this move works,so i'm sorry guys,but go to bulbapedia

Psych up,54: This move copies the targets stats....that's it,kind of an odd move,but if you want to take it,well then don't let me stop you

Heal pulse,58:...this move heals everything around you....including your enemies....that you tell what i think about this move


Stats

HP,95: This is actually a pretty good health stat,not to shabby egg head

Attack,75: A bit low,bit rightfully so,besides this thing-...huh i just noticed that i did a bit of a rhyme there,anyway this stat is a bit low,but it does not matter because this thing does not have alot of attack moves anyway

Defense.80:This is a pretty good defense stat,but i will admit it can do alot better

Sp.atk,100: This stat is very good,you can down alot of things very quickly with this stat

Sp.def,110: Uh..i would have liked it if they gave us more special attack,rather than special defense,but screw it this will suffice

Speed.30:...no comment

This Pokemon has 5 weaknesses,...lovely,anyway those are Bug,ghost,dark,grass,electric,...very dissapointing,i expected less weaknesses,but once again,this will suffice,and to be fair most of these weaknesses have an easy counter that is commonly found through most of the game

This Pokemon takes a good hardy time to level,but persistance is key,so work for your Pokemon you lazy bums

Yeah i am going to be honest,i am out of ideas,but the good thing is,that you can give me some,with some suggestions,so feel free to give me some and maybe i won't suck as much as i already do


Gyms Rival and Elite 4

Gyms: This Pokemon is decently effective in gyms,nothing major,and he will have some problems,but ultimately you can win

Rival : i did have ALOT of trouble with slowking,when facing my rival,so be prepared because every time you face him/her,it will be a challenge

Trainers-are nothing skip it

Elite 4: Should you take this Pokemon to the elite 4....no it might work out for you,but i had FAR to much trouble to get past the champion on gen 3 and 5,maybe that's just a coicedence though...yes i know i spelled coicedence wrong,deal with it


Tips

1.This Pokemon is dangerously slow,so give it an item that does not make it slow anymore,or EV train it
2.once you get psychic,spam psychic

Final thoughts:...you know what i just figured out....?,This Pokemon is nothing but an EXTREMELY better version of mr.mime,i mean it,this Pokemon is SO similar to him that its insane,anyway i guess this is just an average Pokemon,nothing special,it has a decent moveset,pretty good stats,odd yet effective tms,and you will have a challenge when you are facing the a.i i really don't have much to say here,this Pokemon is nothing but average,it offers nothing new to the table,no interesting moves, its just....average,that's all i can use to describe it,but it is certainly not bad,although i will admit,its pretty close to being bad,if only this Pokemon had a bit more polish...if only
