Fire:ability to conduct and expel heat (you can absorb heat and shoot it back in the simplest terms)
ability to cause a heat wave out of nowhere
Ability to give plants sunlight
Ability to increase your body's temperature
Ability to make volcanoes active again
Ability to light things on fire with the touch of your skin
The ability to create harmless fire,a flame that does NOT burn but can at the users will
The ability to creature humanoid will-o-wisp to do your bidding
The ability to BECOME fire (more specifically a flame) also you can blend into fire and reduce the flame or increase the flame
The ability to make your saliva become oil and the ability to increase the amount of saliva you produce to an EXTREME amount(this is a reference to toad oil bombs from naruto)
You can turn a flame into nothing but ashes and cinder

Flying:Ability to Grow wings and fly at extreme speeds
Ability to grow talons
Ability to see at extreme distances (like a hawk)
Ability to cause tornadoes
The ability to control air itself any air withen any object including the air withen a person or animals lungs
The ability to change the position shape and color of the clouds

Water: Ability to purify water
Ability to cause tsunamis
Ability to raise tides
Ability to drain the water out of any creature that contains water( a little harsh...)
Ability to control anything with water in it
Ability to control and bend water to you will
The ability to melt into water completely and become invisible
The ability to create water spirits and control them at your will
The ability to control ANY animal the associates itself with water and any animal that lives in water
You can breathe underwater
You can increase or decrease the temperature of water

Electricity:Ability to conduct and expel electricity
Ability to drain all electrical elements from ANYTHING and i mean ANY electrical elements such as neutrons electrons anything
Ability to shock and or electrocute people
Ability to bend and resist lighting
Ability to cause a thunderstorm out of nowhere
The ability to power down or shut off any electrical devices
You can manipulate the electrical elements in objects or anything that has any trace of electricity in them and exploit those elements to an extreme amount causing pain or an explosion
The ability to become a electrical element and inhabit the body or object that has electrical elements in it

Grass:Ability to cause plants to bloom and fruits and vegetables to ripe
Ability to recover from minor-major injury's by draining the life of plants the bigger the wound the more plants that need to be sacrificed
Ability to grow vines from any part of your body
Ability to enlarge roots in the earth and manipulate them/bend them to your will
Ability to bring plants back to life at the cost of your stamina if you run out of stamina it will force your powers to tap into your blood this can cause death if your not careful with it Tip:if you are out of breath that most likely means your out of stamina (Fun fact:this ability was inspired by the spell known as Life tap in world of warcraft )
Ability to harden your skin so much that it is as sturdy as bark (Fun fact:this ability was inspired by a spell in World of warcraft known as Barkskin)
The ability to speak to plants to find out any history about the plant or the creatures that inhabited there surrounding's (kind of a weird one since it would feel like your in a Disney movie but hey this has its uses..i guess)
The ability to control anything that was made from plant matter
The ability to make trees semi-sentient beings and make them do your bidding

Ice:Ability to freeze people and objects with the touch of your skin
Ability to freeze water into ice you can also choose the strength
Ability to freeze your skin to make it as hard as ice
Ability to freeze the blood cells in a body to stop the flow of blood
Ability to cause blizzards and or snow storms out of nowhere The ability to freeze the atmosphere around you
Since there are elements of water in the air you can create ice out of thin air.

Fighting:You passively gain extreme strength
Your bones passively harden increasing your bulk
Your stamina passively increases
You can automatically master a technique or fighting type move just by seeing it once (this is inspired by the Marvel comics villain known as Taskmaster)
Your are extremely resistant to pain
Your heart organs blood and bone are passively resistant to threats to your immune system also you can digest food more easily and fatty foods wont do a thing to you physically or to your heart
The ability to increase your weight without increasing your size and vice versa( i really like this one and its kind of odd that i did not think of it...)
Since everything in your body is in top physical shape at all times you cannot die from old age
Increase the size of any part of your body..stop thinking dirty thoughts(this is a reference to Choji's ability in Naruto)

Poison:Your are immune to all manner of diseases
You can afflict people with any disease or affliction with the touch of your skin as long as you know the name face and voice of the person,also you must know the name of the disease and know what it does (this is a slight reference to the anime known as Death note)
You can change your body into a microscopic form
You can pollute the atmosphere(i have no idea why you would want to do that besides the atmoshpere is already messes up...)
You can automatically kill plants and make fruits and vegetables rotten with the touch of your skin
You can make meat from an animal full of diseases
You can make your saliva turn into acid
You can pollute water
You can Destroy diseases of all kind from the touch of your skin
The ability to animate sludge
The ability to CREATE a disease and the only cure is yourself(does anyone else think this is the darkest thing on this list..i mean imagine what you could do with that power)
The ability to manipulate and bend sm(oke and smog this can kill people through choking them with the smoke(a little dark...)
You can eat rotten fruits or vegetables and expired food with out any negative side effects(i would personally never eat rotten food though)

Ground/Rock/steel:You can cause earthquakes of any magnitude
You can raise earth from the ground and bend it to your will
Your skin can harden and matches the sturdiness of a mountain
You can bend the earth on the ground to resemble quick sank sinking anything in the area
You can cause mud slide
You can turn solid earth into mudthe ability to manipulate any material made of dirt/rocks/minerals/or metallic substances. (Reference to Magneto from X-Men)
The ability to drain iron from any living creature that contains iron(yeah i can make a maggy reference to..)
You are passively resistant to pressure such as hammers or your foot getting stepped on but you FEEL extreme pain from sharp objects such as needles or knives (this is referencing how its easier to to cleave into the earth with shovels and jackhammers but its harder to dig into the earth with pressure)
You can turn Rocks and ground into steel and vice versa


Psychic/Dark:You Passively unlock and accesses more and more of the full extent of your brain and minds potential as you get stronger
You can deflect objects
You can levitate and fly(however not as fast as you can if you pick flying we need some balance here)
You can pass lie detector test
You see the name face and voice of the person by touching something that belongs to them
You can see into the future BUT the extent of this power is limited to your age for instance if your 9 you can only see 9 hours into the future
You can read minds
You can speak to people telepathically BUT this extent of you power is also limited to your age,for instance if you were 10 you can only speak to people who are 10 kilometers away
You can levitate objects
You can bend reality and send things to another realm or plain of existence BUT you can only send people to other realms if the realm has a breathable atmosphere
You can force people or animals to feel a certain emotion for a limited time
You can turn invisible BUT the extent of this power is limited to your age if your 10 you can only stay invisible for 10 hours and it will take you 10 hours to turn invisible again
You can cause headaches and migraines
You can trick a targets mind into thinking they are feeling intense pain when they are really not
You can trick a targets mind into a mirage
You can change a targets dream while there sleeping
The ability to control the minds of other people within your vicinity. Limited by age: 1 Year = 1 Kilometer
The Ability to create Darkness in a place filled with Light. and vice versa
You can shift into a another dimension for a limited time and pop back into reality(this was inspired by the sirens ability from the video game known as borderlands)


Bug:You can drain the nutrients from meat fruits vegetables ext. with out actually eating the food
You can grow wings and fly
You can camouflage yourself to blend into your surroundings
You can turn into any insect or arachnid of your choice as long as you know the name look and family of insect or arachnid the insect or arachnid is
You can grow 8 gigantic spider legs on your back
You can shoot web from any part of your body...stop with the dirty thoughts
You make bend insects and arachnids to your will
Insects and arachnids will passively respect you and will do there best to not get in your way
You can see into the life of an insect or arachnid just by looking at it
The ability to bring dead insects/arachnids back to life.
The ability to spawn insects/arachnids out of thin air and have them do your bidding.(i kind of disagreed on this one but i'm going to let it slide)
Ability to see through the eyes of an insect that is in eyesight
You can replace your arms with scythes(similar to scyther)

Ghost:you can posses people
You can fade into the wind
You can grow ghost like apandages such as shadow claw
You can forcibly harness the the soul of nearby creatures and harness it into a sphere to attack your enemies (this is inspired by the spirit bomb)
The ability to raise the dead and have them do your bidding.
The ability to "steal" someone's soul and kill them instantaneously....BUT (and really sorry if this pisses you off emo teen) you can only steal someones soul if your will is stronger than there's,if your will is not stronger this damage can backfire and damage you?
The ability to interact with spirits and speak to the dead.
You can feed a target images into there brain such as loved ones pets or anything you can imagine but only they can see it.
You are passively stronger when you are in the shadows or when you are in the dark
You can forcibly inflict the feeling of fear into a target
You can go into a state where for a limited time you cannot feel any pain or pressure,but once you are out of that state you will feel all the pain and pressure you would have felt.(this was inspired by the spell known as purgatory in World of warcraft)
You passively drain the souls of creatures around you with out them knowing,do to this you are stronger around other creatures
You have the ability to create a somewhat demonic like aura around you that mimics your attacks and you can choose what the aura looks like,this is only active for a limited time(examples Nero's devil trigger or Sasuke's s Susanoo)


Dragon;You automatically control the elements of fire and electricity
You can grow wings and fly
you can make your skin scally to resist pain and pressure
You can Turn into a dragon
The more emotion you feel the more powerful you become (this is a slight reference to demonic fury from world of warcraft)
Your stamina passively increases
You can feel the slightest things that touch you
You can grow 6 inch claws or..any inch
You can conduct the power of fire water grass and electricity but you cannot expel or release it
The ability to breath fire.
The ability to live in any environment no matter the conditions.


And thats all the things i have for now but if you guys got some ideas PLEASE tell me and i will update this i wonder if you guys will change what type you want to have because of this

relinquish022 : This is a really good addition to the elements. I'm not going to change my elements though, but just give some suggestive abilities. 

Fire:
The ability to create HARMLESS fire. Fire that does NOT burn, can at users will.
The ability to create humanoid will-o-wisps that do your bidding.

Flying:
The ability to control the air itself, and any air within any object, including a person's or animals lungs.
The ability to change the weather (Like Storm from X-Men) at your will including the position, shape, density and color of clouds.

Water: 
The ability to melt into water completely and turn invisible. (Reference to Vaporeon of course.)
The ability to create water spirits and control them at your will.
The ability to control any animal that lives WITHIN the water (This includes animals that live in water and land such as turtles, platypus, seals, etc).

Electricity:
The ability to power up or shut down ANY electrical device including Power Plants. No batteries required. 

Grass:
The ability to SPEAK to plants to find out any history of any place and the people that have inhabited it's surrounding area and passed by it.
The ability to control anything that was made from plant matter (Paper, foods with plant material within them, Pencils, etc.)

Ice:
The ability to freeze the atmosphere around you (similar to the 5th ability, but immediate surrounding area.)

Fighting:
The ability to increase your weight without increasing your size and vice versa. (to be grounded with a lot of weight and no push back from attacks. And to seem more intimidating.)

Poison:
The ability to animate sludge (Grimer/Muk Reference) and have it do your bidding.
The ability to CREATE new disease for which there is no cure but yourself. 

Ground/Rock/Steel:
The ability to manipulate any material made of dirt/rocks/minerals/or metallic substances. (Reference to Magneto from X-Men)
The ability to turn mud to solid earth at your will. (it seems you forgot this in the end.)

Psychic/Dark:
The ability to control the minds of other people within your vicinity. Limited by age: 1 Year = 1 Kilometer

Those are my suggestions. I might have more as my mind oils its creativity wheels.

emoteen134 : I agree with all of those and thank you for the suggestions i will be sure to add those to here...well except for the flying ability to change the weather that kind of falls into electric type stuff but i can make it so flying types can change the speed and velocity of the wind.

relinquish022 : Weather is a lot of things. Its flying, water, electric AND ice if you think about it. Rain, snow, wind, lighting?  Yea. But wind is the biggest thing in my opinion. I spent about 20 minutes thinking up the ideas. I had to make sure you didn't take it already. LOL.

I would chose Psychic or Ghost, that are my favorite types. Psychic can control everything just with their mind + they can teleport.And Ghost type, hmm they are ghosts, guys that's pretty awesome. 

I'm more of a Steel/Dragon type (see my profile pic).

Psychic.
No need for much else in a fight. They attack you, you make them hit themselves, do some levitation and kick them in the face. More creative ways to go about things.
That and intelligence boosts, media attention, ultimate power combined with laziness all make Psychic the best way to go. Need I say (or type) more?

I have recently made some changes and balancing for most of the perks you may notice some changes..just a head ups really nothing special

Also i may have given fighting a REALLY Overpowered ability

The guy I quoted said Flying types were the only realistic to choose. My mistake.

I would have to go with Fire, I think all of the fire pokemon are awesome. My favorites are Charizard and Arcanine, those two are the ones that caused me to love the type so much.

I think i will have to go with pyschic with the levitation and the seeing into the future.
My  choice would have been flying until i saw psychics could fly around.

My first choice would definitely be Dragon type. Second choice would probably be Ice.

Why? Well, they're both cool (+1 PUN) types, and overall really strong. They have a variety of strong and really powerful moves that can be used for selfish deeds, really.

In real life, Dragon type would just be easy for a few reasons.

1. You could fly, like some can.
2. You look amazing.
3. You can flip a bus with your two pinkies.

For ice...

1. Slip people!
2. Feel cool when you're hot.
3. FREE ICE CREAM!

Flying's not so bad. I would probably choose Flying, but Dragon types lol. As goodboy stated, Dragon types are quite versatile...flying, brute strength, etc. 

Ice, melt it with fire, no biggie. 

In the end, on more realistic terms, Dragons can fly to safe places, escape the floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, fires. Dragons can easily obtain food, killing everything on land lol. Brutal, but realistic. The other types, such as fire, are exposed to their weaknesses much more than others, and unlike some types, fire can't realistically destroy a weakness. Yes, fire can turn water into steam, but the fire is still going to be put out. Dragons can melt Ice, and probably can dodge lightning in the air. 

Don't judge me, but I saw Kyurem vs the Swords of Justice, and it took a lot to bring Kyurem down. Meh, I was legit bored when I saw the movie, and I do not enjoy watching Ash on his little adventures. Origins is a good series, cuz Red is the best trainer, not Ash (in my opinion, and probably many other people's opinions too).

I would have the power of psychic type Pokemon. Being able to control things with my mind would be pretty useful, telekenesis and things like that.

I want to be fire type so that I can see when I'm in the dark place and I will burn the pokemon if they are attacking me.
