What is the most difficult level in a video game? I think it is the level of Grunty Industries, from Banjo Tooie. If you have seen my other gaming posts, you would have seen me complaining about it loads of times.

So what level in any video game do you think is the hardest? Battles from RPGs are included.

Well these days there are not many games that are very hard. Of course there are some exceptions such as playing Halo in Legendary (even the first level is tough!) and the level in Super Mario 3D where you are on the ever moving air ship being chased by Nega Mario. However there is many levels that date back through the ages and through out all of the retro consoles but when it comes to difficult, only hacks can claim to be difficult. The Super Mario World hack Kazio Mario pushes you button pressing timing to more of a test than rhythm paradise! I am yet to even get past the very first level. The first obstacle is a wall of bullet bills which you must jump over. The game trolls you by making the wall higher than the height you can jump meaning you have to jump on one of the bullet bills which happen to be very close to each other, so close you can hardly see a difference in position! I suggest you do not try it since it causes a lot of rage, I mean a lot of rage!!!

I say that the car level from Battletoads for the NES is the hardest level that has ever been produced in any video game. Even harder than any Mega Man stage or anything.

I know a lot of people will think I'm a noob but, I would say Morty in Pokemon Golden Sun. Yes, Pokemon Golden Sun. Being completely blind and the text in Japanese(I can't read it, duh) I had to grind my Pokemon.

I've heard about many annoying/hard stages in video games, but these are just from my personal experiences:

1) Fight or Flight -JSR- F$%@ this level. I know it IS one of the last levels of the game, but the other 2 were possible. Not only does it have the most ANNOYING enemies in the game (Assassin #2; guys with jetpacks who shoot at you and you can't do anything to stop them), but it also has the biggest area to spray a crapload of graffiti! And you're also on a time limit... so good luck getting through a huge area with invincible enemies that shoot at you in under 999 seconds (it seems generous, but it goes really fast). Also good luck trying to Jet rank this mission because of the EXTREMELY high point total you need to get it.

2) Boobeam trap- MM2-  While I will say that Megaman 2 is a fantastic game, I must say I really hate this boss. it can only be damaged by the crash bomber, which you only have 7 shots with, to defeat it. If you mess up, either dying or running out of crash bombs, you're pretty much doing the second half of the stage again to farm weapon energy to refill the crash bomber.
