Alright funny story i was about to review a different pokemon but i decided to review Cranidos instead why...nobody will ever know...but anyway cranidos in one of my favorite pokemon its in my top 5 but still is it really that good...well its my job to find out time TO LAY DOWN DA LAW WOOOOOOOOOOH...always wanted to do that

Moveset

To start this thing off we get headbutt and leer headbutt is a very good move much better than tackle so this is a good set to start off with

At level 6 we get focus energy...dont use it

Now at level 10 we get pursuit a decent dark type move for now i suggest you use it

At level 15 we get Take down a very good normal type move with 90 base attack damage and has 85% accuracy a decent move but there is a catch..you take 25% Percent of the damage that you did to the target so there is a drawback but its not to bad when you think about i recommend you use this move but use it sparingly

At level 19 we get scary face...dont use it

Now at level 24 we get assurance now this move will replace pursuit it has a base damage of 50 and if the target has already taken damage the turn you used this move this attack will deal double damage..thats 100 BASE ATTACK DAMAGE use this move it will be effective i assure you...get the joke...

At level 28 we get ancient power and...this is a decent move its a rock type has a base damage of 60 and has a 10% chance of lowering all the targets stats bye 1 stage...this is a good move its not essential but i highly recommend you keep it for a while but if you dont want to hey...there is nothing i can do to stop you

Ladys and Gentlemen...we have hit our goal level 30...and i present to you...RAMPARDOS a hunk of bone that can take on anything why....? well i will get to that later

Now at level 43 we get zen headbutt...now this psychic type move has a base attack power of 80 and has a 20% chance of making the target flinch this is...a very good move take it i promise you it will serve you well

At level 51 we get screech...you know the drill

AND finally to wrap this all up at level 58 we get head smash now this move has a base attack damage of 150 and has a accuracy rate of 80%...oh you think you can get away with that pfft the drawback is that the user takes HALF the damage as recoil...this is a great move keep it but once again use it sparingly

STATS

Now i am just going to tell you guys now rampardos main stat is focused in attack which is 165....just take that in that is legendary pokemon level his attack is on par with palkia....now thats great and all but we all know the draw back the rest of this things stats suck SO MUCH now to be fair its second highest stat is its health which is good now its other stats in the other hand...ugh...okay its lowest stat is its special attack and special defense so as you can see this pokemon is built to be a physical attacker and i will go into that stuff later for tms and hms now its defense and speed will be a problem they are about on par with each other there stats are both 60 so i guess if you eve train this thing good enough you can just focus on speed and never have to worry about attack because its so FREAKING POWERFUL thats another thing never focus in attack EVER there is no point to it just focus on speed and defense thats how i survived and thats how you will survive ON TO THE TMS

TMS AND HMS

Now i will admit this was pretty tough and this pokemon is going to have to lose a point for this but i always find something that works and now i show you

Earthquake
Stone edge
Fire punch
Zen Headbutt

Now Rampardos stat is completely focused in attack so this will seem a bit weird but here is what i did...NO MATTER WHAT GO ALL OUT ATTACK do not try anything else this guy is nothing but a dumb giant thats all he can do and thats all he is meant to do once i realized that it was much easier for me to do testing with this pokemon now stone edge will cover the sky for you so no flying types can get close to you earthquake will protect you from steel and fire types fire punch will screw over grass and ice types and zen headbutt will destroy and fighting type i tried to cover every weakness this pokemon has but its not possible...oh yeah i guess i should tell you those fighting ground steel grass and water i have everything covered except water now this will be your main threat and unless you have a backup pokemon your pretty much dead...but if you did what i said and EV trained this thing for being extremely fast you might just might have a chance to one hit K.O the target before it gets a chance to even move....thats it for tms and hms TIME FOR THE RIVAL AND GYM

RIVAL AND GYMS

now to be honest..this guy is not that great in gyms not really when i was testing with this thing in almost every instance i had to have a back up team to support me even in electric type gym shouldnt that be like..impossible...? now your rival on the other hand will stand no chance i mean it even when it is fighting a grass type starter it can just steam roll through it and if you did what i said which is focused on this things speed stat it will make it even easier for Rampardos to get in and cause havoc so thats all good but now for the question we have been waiting for...should you take it to the elite 4....yes you should this thing will be a wonderful pokemon to take to the elite 4 but only if you trained to for speed you know why...because it will be so fast that the elite 4 will have no time to react and use potions you guys may think i am over doing it here but i mean it if you train this thing from the start aka when its a cranidos to focus on attack it will be one of the fastest pokemon in your party and..thats about it FINAL THOUGHTS

Final thoughts: Rampardos is the definition of glass cannon it does alot of damage but can die easily this pokemon can be effective when used correctly and to use it correctly you have to have basically no strategy except to kill everything in your way with no thought to it now i hate when i have to think like that but i forced my way through it to get this done and to be honest rampardos is not a bad pokemon its a good pokemon not great though the thing thats saves it is its EXTREMELY OVERPOWERED ATTACK STAT im sorry i just cant get over that its just insane...but anyway time for final rating
