Now I've recently completed Doom for the snes in Ultra Violence since it plays through all the levels. After that I am bored. From time to time I play arcade games like Mortal Kombat which are very fun but don't really keep you attention for too long since the arcade mode is short (I've only completed it on the SEGA genesis, the SNES port is really hard).

I want to play a game which has a good story, which is also entertaining almost the whole way through but is not Pokemon or Mario. I don't have the patients for Pokemon and I hate any platformer. Another problem is most N64 games run slow on my computer, It's only has a measly 1GB of RAM. I tried playing The Legend of Zelda Majora's mask but it was way too laggy.

As you may tell I need your opinion on what games to play. So please reply because I will appreciate it.

Hm, this is a hard one. The only game I can think of (that I can suggest) is Summon Night - Swordcraft Story. 

The game has a decent story, but I've never completed it to be honest.

It has RPG elements such as equipping stuff on your character and leveling up.

Not a platformer, more like an adventure game.

Its 'battle mode' works the same way as beat 'em ups do, but it allows you to flee from random encounter battles.

It's notable feature is that you can craft your own weapons from the materials you collect throughout the game.

Honestly any of the Legend of Zelda games for game boy are nice. If you want more of a fighting game I would recommend Spiderman/ Venom Maximum Carnage it's for Snes and Sega, but it has always been one of my personal favorites and if you like Pokemon but don't feel like the whole ordeal the Dragon Warrior/Quest series are nice simple but very fun RPG's.

You should play Pokémon Snakewood. Its a pretty good hack which features zombie trainers and zombie Pokémon. The story is pretty good also and by far is the best hack I have ever played.
