Well let me tell you. I have played some really weird games in my time. But this is one of the down-right strangest. I mean where do I even start? Walking gloves, Magic balls, Walking sharks, Fish Towers, Balloon elephants and Did I mention you play as a walking glove!? Oh boy. I am of course talking about Glover. Now as some of you mean know a game can leave you with a sour feeling if you come into it with your expectations too high and just wind up being disappointed, how ever games can become better if you keep your expectations low. So when I came into this game I had my expectations rather low because I had not heard a lot of amazing things about this game. So what did I think of it? Well as I played it I found it to be a very engaging and enjoyable puzzle/plat-former. Now enough babbling, Lets get into the review!

GRAPHICS
I did not really find anything special here. The graphics were really blurry and the in-game enemies looked just plain odd. The environments while colorful and bright were not really good looking. If you were too judge the game simply by looking at it you would probably assume its garbage. Probably why it didn't get a lot of love back in the day.

SOUND
When the topic of sound comes into the game it begins to shine a little brighter. The music is very peaceful and sometimes has a funky fell to it. The sound effects (While quite muffled.) are nice. They add too the whole cartoony feel of the game. The sound is decent but
un-comparable too other games from around the same time.

ADDICTIVENESS
This was truly surprising. The game is very difficult too put down. The puzzle solving is satisfying and the platforming is enjoyable. With such a simple goal of getting a ball to the exit by involving it in puzzle solving. It is very addictive and fun. And it even has some replay-ability if you care enough to get all of the collectables.

STORY
Well, Its definitely unique. But I am not sure I would call it "Great" or even "Good". The story is about a wizard who was concocting a potion or something for a reason that is not given. And it explodes (Again for a reason that is not given.) launching the wizard back as his gloves fly off his hand and he falls through the floor. One of the gloves fly out the windows and another one lands in the potion or whatever. ANOTHER explosion occurs as the glove that fell into the potion comes out as "Cross-Stitch". The force of said explosion knocks 6 crystals off the tower. Glover, (The one that flew out the window) Uses his magic too turn the crystals into balls. It is now up to Glover to get the crystals before Cross-Stitch does so Glover can use their power too revive the wizard. Its not a fantastic story. But it kind of works. I guess.

DEPTH
There is not a lot of depth to this game. It is pretty small and there is not much to do other then collect things, kill enemies and beat the levels.

DIFFICULTY
The game truly shines here. The difficulty is perfectly balanced. It is truly difficult to figure out how to proceed. Overall its fantastic here.

CONCLUSION
I had a lot of fun with this game. I can see why it didn't sell a lot but I can't say it deserved it. In fact.. Y'know what? I am Opti, And I believe that Glover is better than Super Mario 64. YUP. YOU HEARD IT. I SAID IT. Anyway. I hope you enjoyed this review and remember its only my opinion. If you don't like this game than SO BE IT! Until next review, See ya!

This was underrated? I heard Glover was the pioneer for successes such as Banjo Kazooie and Super Mario 64. I guess you learn something new everyday.

Nice writing. There's a great amount of detail in your paragraphs. Keep on writing, I'd love to read more of your reviews.
