Game background- Well this is a hack of Pokémon Leafgreen. I beat through some of
it but over all this is not one of the best hacks of Pokémon on here, and die
hard fans would most likely despise this game. I didn't like this 1.) Because the starters move sets idea was very unappealing and undesirable(they have 1 hit K.O. Moves but some Pokémon are unaffected by them).
2.) Navigating through this game was a pain and made no sense what so
ever and mew will not listen to you even after you get badges. 3.) Getting
through the cave linking the 3rd gym town to the town above pallet town was
filled with Pokémon that all out level yours and it's the only route you can take. Also the Pokémon seem to carry random item's that really make no sense like for an example some of my Pokémon carries mach bikes, rainbow pass, master ball, and town map etc. Pokémon move sets, abilities and locations were changed in this hack as well as what type they are affected by. Overall if you were looking for a more serious hack to play were it challenges your skills as a trainer and pushes you to train hard with many hours of game play, well this is not a hack meant for you. This hack I feel was meant for the not so serious trainers that don't want a seriously difficult hack and would rather have a more relaxed hack that you can breeze through easily.
Graphics- The graphics are spot on, they are exactly what you would expect from regular leafgreen, no freezes or distortions of any kind. The Pokémon look like exactly like what they are suppose to be (physically wise). The games layout(area wise) was changed a bit from regular leafgreen but the over all the design is the same. There are no pixel distortions what so ever. So for graphics I gave this hack a 10 out of 10.
Sound- Well the hack stays true to regular Pokémon leafgreen, it plays the exact same sound track from/heard in Pokémon leafgreen. It's pitch and acoustics as well as base are on point with no distortions. No Pokémon battle cries were changed nor alternated in anyway. So for sound I gave this hack a 10 out of 10.
Addictiveness- Well me personally, the changes of me replaying this game is slim to none. I say this because it just wasn't very difficult to me. The legendary Pokémon were easy to obtain and could be found in pretty common area's early on in the game. Also it wasn't very addicting because I wasn't very found of the items or move set the Pokémon have, for example Pokémon had 1 hit K.O. Moves but they were ineffective on most Pokémon thus making those 1 hit K.O. Moves useless to have. In addiction I also wasn't found of game layout, the extra area's that were added on, it only made navigation threw-out the game a pain. So for addictiveness I gave the game a 3 out of 10.
Story- The story stayed true to the original Pokémon leafgreen, nothing was really changed there. There are basically no dialog changes in the hack, the characters would say what they normally would. So for story I gave the hack a 10 out of 10.
Depth-The hack does take a considerable amount of time to beat all the way(beating the elite 4 and all 8 gyms). The hack offers the people who aren't very serious nor competitive about Pokémon, a chance to play a more less competitive Pokémon game that's easier to beat with virtually no challenge. So for depth I gave the hack a 7 out of 10.
Difficulty-It wasn't very difficult to me personally mainly because in Tyranitor's cave I caught a lv 29 Tyranitor before I even got a badge so basically the game was a breeze. Another thing that made the game pretty easy was the fact the A.I. Is still brainless and makes constant mistakes in it's battle strategy's. And on top of that Pokémon had 1 hit K.O. Moves from the start with extra pp on the moves so that also contributed to it's low difficulty, but what really made this hack harder than most was its map navigation threw it was difficult. So for difficulty I gave the hack a 5 out of 10.
Overall- Overall I gave the hack a 7.5 out of 10, because there were to many changes that were just upsetting and didn't boost the morale for the player to actually play the hack(in my opinion).
